As Estella made her way down to the Great Hall for breakfast, an eager Regulus ran up to greet her, making the girl grin. She'd always been the one to come talk to him, but now he was finally approaching her—Gaining confidence.

"I finished it all," He beamed with a happy smile, as he handed the girl back the book she'd loaned. It was the one she'd bought at Hogsmeade, A Girl Called Leta.

"Yay!" She squealed with a laugh. "What did you think of it?"

"It was good! I never realized all the stuff that these people went through, i-it makes me wonder..." He trailed, though he didn't have to finish his thoughts for Estella to understand what he meant. It makes him wonder if his family is telling the truth.

"Me too," She agreed with a firm nod as the two walked towards the Slytherin table, sitting down in the middle as they usually did.

"Leta Lestrange...I wish I was as brave as her," He murmured as he dished his plate. "Me too. Maybe we will be, when the times right," Estella responded, trying to keep the conversation happy and hopeful, unlike the majority of their depressing talks. Regulus really didn't think highly of himself, and it frustrated Estella. She wished he could see himself the way she saw him.

"Maybe. I mean, I—" Regulus started, before getting cut off by someone sitting down next to him—A familiar someone.

"Mind if I sit here a moment?" Narcissa huffed as she slumped down into her seat, making Estella frown. "What gives?" She questioned, only seeming to make Narcissa angrier.

"Fucking Bellatrix! Godrick, she's just been driving me mad!" The older witch huffed, angrily shoving a forkful of salad into her mouth.

"Okayyy," Regulus cooed, placing a hesitant hand over her shoulder to calm her down. "Bella drives everybody mad," He said, the two girls nodding in agreement,

"I know," She sighed, placing her face in her hands as she slumped over onto the table. "It's just so...I mean, it can be a little...She can be too much, some times," She explained, careful to choose the right words.

"I don't know, sometimes I wish I'd been sorted into Gryffindor, or something," She muttered, making Regulus's eyes widen. "Y-You can't say that! We're proud to be in Slytherin, remember?" He said scarcely, though Cissy shook her head.

"Look over there, Reggie! They have so much fun. Like those fifth years, Marlene and Mary. They're always laughing and poking fun at Sirius and his friends, it's just so..." She trailed, Estella finishing her sentence. "Lighthearted?" She questioned.

She'd always felt that way about Marlene McKinnon and Mary MacDonald. The two were always so close, laughing and holding hands, like they were the best friends in the world. Estella could only hope to one day have the confidence to speak with them.

Narcissa nodded, a small smile creeping onto her face. "Exactly. And those seventh year twins, Fabian and Gideon. They hex people, but like, not in a rude way? I-I don't know, it just seems like they don't have any problems. They're all so happy."

Regulus chewed on his lip furiously the entire time Narcissa spoke, as if he was forcing!himself to not speak up and agree with her, the thing he so obviously wanted to do.

"I-I think we have fun over here, too," He peeped, making Narcissa roll her eyes. "It's not the same."
