Warning: if you have emethophobia(fear of vomiting), there is mention of that in this chapter. No details tho!! <33

I felt myself start to panic. Fuck, fuck, fuck. Did I sleep with someone? Was I that drunk that I went home with someone? I glanced around the room in a frenzy. I was absolutely horrified at the thought that I slept with some random stranger. When my eyes met the bedroom door, I saw a familiar coat.

That is Diluc's coat.

Oh my god. No way. Did I really sleep with him? My face started to burn up and I began to breathe heavily. I wasn't ready for anything at the moment. Especially not with someone I just met. I wanted to just get up and leave but I felt so ill I couldn't. My anxiety and panic made my nausea worse and I have a fear of throw up. As a result, I was pale in the face, shaking, and on the verge of tears.

I heard the door open but that didn't change my current state. "Oh my god, Y/n? What's wrong?" asked Diluc, frantic about my panic attack. I sat up and faced him. I began to cry as I felt like shit and was freaking out. I tried to speak but the words weren't able to form thanks to me shaking. He put the tray he was holding full of delicious food down on the nightstand. He quickly covered me in his blanket. "Relax. You're okay. Can you tell me what's wrong?" he asked in the most gentle way. I took a few deep breaths to calm myself down. Once I couldn't hear my heartbeat anymore, I used my words to communicate.

"Did...did we do anything last night?" I asked. His eyes widen at my question, further concerning me. "No, you were drunk and passed out so I took you here. I felt weird walking into your house without your permission." he responded. Phew. My worries went out the window when he said that. My demeanor changed and I felt comfortable. I looked down and noticed I was wearing a completely different outfit.

I was wearing a crimson red sweatshirt that was big and baggy. Super comfy. And black sweatpants that can be worn as high waisted. That was when I started to panic again. "Wait. Did you change my clothes?" I asked, extremely frantically. "What? No, no. Those are my clothes but I asked Rosaria to help you. You threw up all over yourself." he said, gently placing his hands on my shoulders to offer support. After he realized what he did, he moved his hands. "Sorry." he said as he looked away shyly. I giggled at his awkwardness. "Thank you." I said, smiling. He smiled back and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast he brought.

We spent the morning talking and laughing. Who would have thought after what happened just recently that I would be this happy. "Hey by the way." Diluc says to get my attention. I face completely in front of him to give him my full attention. "Charles, the other bartender, just quit so if you need a job-"

"Yes!" I exclaimed, giving him the fattest hug by pure instinct. "Thank you so much! I can start as soon as possible!" He smiled at my enthusiasm.

"Let's get you rested up first though" Diluc laughed. After I was feeling better, I returned home to change out of my clothes. I threw Diluc's in the washer and left almost immediately after.

My first night as a bartender at Diluc's tavern. Upon walking in, I was super excited for my new job. Until I remembered.

Kaeya is going to be here.

I clenched my hands on my apron when I came to that conclusion. Diluc noticed my sudden change in face and became worried. "Y/n, you okay?" he asked, placing a hand on my back to calm my nerves. "It's okay if you're nervous. This is a lot easier than being a knight" he giggles.

The door opens and a certain fellow walked in with a whole new girl. They immediately kissed, passionately. I then left saying, "I have to use the bathroom". Before I could enter the bathroom to cry, a hand gripped onto my arm. I was quickly turned to face Diluc.

"Y/n, what is going on?"
