Translation - I'll find a way
Katya's skin felt warm. She felt the rays of the sun on her body and felt this chill on her hand that put everything she felt off balance. She opened her eyes and saw her hand being held by another. She looked up and saw Eric.
She laid on his lap as he looked out at the bright sun beamed world at a local park bench, something he hadn't truly been exposed to in over a thousand years. Katya stared up and admired him in awe. She thought he looked handsome naturally, but even more so when the sun hit his face, all of his sharp features were accentuated.
When she thought about it, where she was and who she was with, she immediately sat up and vampire sped to her feet. She looked at the sun and then back at Eric, who looked a little bit flustered.
"How are you?" She confusingly asked.
"I don't expect you to forgive me." He looked up at her and then back at the scenery.
"But I don't regret it. I apologize, but you were bleeding out. I couldn't resist. I tried, believe me."
He sat up and then towered over her. "But you, in turn, drank your fill." He picked up a lock of her hair and then showed it to her. It had some blood on it.
She took it back from him and then coughed, embarrassed.
"I suppose you're expecting a thank you? There's a reason why I don't let vampires drink from me."
"I understand, and I'm sorry, but this is an experience I may never have again. I'm not asking you to forgive me. I'm asking you to understand, I thank you for today."
She sighed and nodded her head. "It'll only last for about a day, so -" Katya was cut off by chills traveling down her spine in lightening speed. The hair on her neck lifted, and she felt a jolt of electricity shock her all throughout her body. She smiled and closed her eyes, basking in her delight.
"What is it?" Asked Eric.
"It's Nik, I feel him again. He must've been unconscious because before, I was unable to feel him."
"Can't you just summon him?"
Katya chuckled at Eric's sudden naivity. "If it worked, we wouldn't be here."
Eric sat down, and Katya joined him afterward. "I need to look for him."
"I suppose that would be the smart thing, yes."
Katya looked at Eric angrily. "I gave you the gift of the sun. Being nice to me would be 'the smart thing'." Mocked Katya.
"I need candles and a dark room."
"Candles and darkness. How fitting."
"Eric, stop being a cunt. The witches that help me do these types of spells require open lit flames to enhance their magic. They help me. Something you haven't quite gotten the hang of yet."
"The witches?" Asked Eric. Katya looked out without a response and then began to walk along the sidewalk with Eric following behind. He smirked at how demanding and leading she was.
"Well, if you want darkness and candles, the vampire hotel would be the smart place to do it."
He placed his hand on Katya's shoulder who was still walking to stop her.
"The vampire hotel which is that way." He turned her around and she blushed, embarrassed, immediately wiggling away from his grasp.
When she began walking to avoid catching the attention of regular humans, Eric walked beside her. Katya sped up out of complete pettiness, making Eric chuckle, he sped up with her to make her angrier.
