Translation - pitiful boy
Katya held Steve Newlin's collar with a tighter grip than she did previously. The more her realization sunk in, the more Newlin struggled to breathe.
She swallowed and let go of him. As she threw him to the ground, he yelped out in pain and held his throat.
"Monst-" Before Steve could finish his insult towards Katya, she flicked her wrist, and he went flying out a window. It wasn't enough to kill him, just enough to get him out of the picture.
Katya's eyes were set on Godric, the anger she felt flared into the sky, her wrath chilled the room and made everyone uncomfortable. She finally put all of the misconstrued pieces of her puzzle together.
She growled slightly, and in the blink of an eye, the lights flickered, as they turned on, Godric was in the air struggling and clawing at his neck. Katya's arm was up in the air, controlling him from the ground.
"HEY!" Yelled one of Godric's underlings with the cowboy hat. He sped to Katya, but a newly regenerated Nik kicked him into a wall. He hissed at the other vampires in order to avoid their intrusion between their interaction.
Katya slowly brought Godric towards her, and when he arrived, she stared into his eyes, eyes that gleamed every second they laid on her.
"My..." Godric coughed blood. "Rina."
Katya strengthened her grip.
"All of a sudden, you want to play peacemaker when you plan on leaving us. Leaving me? Do you take me for a fool?"
Katya laughed and brought him closer to her face.
"You misunderstand me, lover. You're not allowed to make any decisions anymore."
Katya gave a side eye to the right and looked back at Godric, whom she still held tight. She looked at him disgustingly and let go. But as she did, she stepped out of the way, and Godric was tackled to the ground by an imprecise Eric, who initially aimed for Katya.
He immediately got up and shivered.
"I-I apologize, Go-"
"It wasn't you." Godric got up and held his lower torso, which may have contained newly broken ribs. "Kataerina has misconstrued conceptions."
Eric sped towards Katya in an attempt to attack her but failed once more as she sped out of the building with Nik, Godric held Eric back to protect her, although she didn't nearly need it.
Godric fell to the ground and sighed, blood trickling down his mouth onto the ground. He wiped it clean and got up, looking at everyone who remained staring in silence, too afraid to intervene.
"You can not quarrel with her, ever." Godric struggled to breathe and then slowly brought his eyes up to Eric. "Ever." He repeated.
Godric held his mid torso and felt genuine pain. His refusal to feed has taken a huge toll on him. Nevertheless, he exerted his power as sheriff and spoke to his subjects, still thinking of Katya. He took a deep breath and attempted to ignore his emotional pain for a few moments.
"Peace and coexistence between our species must be initiated. Too many innocent lives have been claimed due to each other's expense. Although vampires may be stronger, humans have rage and hatred that brew inside them to eventually overcome our strength." He wiped the excess blood from his face and looked out the window that Katya lept out of.
"Emotions take a bigger toll than morality." He looked down and chuckled at himself. "They unfortunately become a consequence rather than an advantage."
