Chapter 6: Nightmare

The next morning, the sun hits the beam on Carla's face as she wakes up. She then turns to her side and sees her boyfriend sleeping peacefully and then eventually wakes up. "Hey, babe." said Chris. "Morning, baby." said Carla as she kissed him. "I had fun last night." said Carla. "Me too. Come on, let's go to the park. Get some fresh air." said Chris as they both washed up and dressed. As they were about to leave, they saw a note on the floor in front of the door. Chris gets it as they observe it. "Morning Chris and Carla, we hope you two enjoy your 'perfect' time last night. We're going on a girl's trip for a while, so until then, the house is yours and theirs plenty of food in the fridge for you both to eat." -Love you, from your mothers, Claudia and Carmen. "Huh, guess they heard us last night." said Chris. "Well, we have the house to ourselves now, meaning we can make out anywhere and whenever we want." said Carla as Chris chuckled. "You are one baaad girl and lucky for you, I love it." said Chris as Carla jumped in his arms and kissed him passionately. The two then ate breakfast and went to the living room to watch a couples movie. Meanwhile, Violet and Tony were having a walk in the park having a date. "Feels nice going out with you again." said Violet. "Me too. I really missed this cause...you know...stuff." said Tony as Violet giggled knowing what he meant. Suddenly, there was an explosion in the city, where a purple tank with a purple cube lay on top of it, along with a man wearing a dark cloak with an evil mask with purple glowing eyes. Violet glares at him and takes Tony to safety. "Tony, you get somewhere safe." said Violet as Tony nodded and hid in a bush. Violet calls for her family and they eventually arrive in their supersuits. "Greetings, people of Municiberg. I am Nightmare. Tonight, you'll meet your doom!!" roared Nightmare. "Who is this guy?" asked Dash. "I don't know but whoever he is, he seems dangerous." said Bob. The Incredibles charged towards the villain. The family battled the villain but Nightmare was too powerful. "He's too strong!" said Dash. "Come on! We can't give up!" said Mr. Incredible as they keep fighting. "I enjoy your confidence to stop me but all you did was a tickle. Let's get this over with." said Nightmare. He grabbed Violet by her head and threw her in a lake. He then focused his attention on the rest of the family and kidnapped them all. Violet slowly falls unconscious and then a shadowy figure comes to help her. Hours later, Violet had awoken on a couch with a cloth on her head and her body in a blanket. She sees a young super her age lighting a campfire with two swords on his back. "Hey." said Violet. "Oh you're awake. About time." said the super. "Thank you for saving me. What's your name?" asked Violet. "No problem. My name is Soulblade. I am a swordsman." said Soulblade. "Nice to meet you, Soulblade. I'm.." He then cuts her off. "I know who you are. Your Invisigirl aka Violet Parr." said Soulblade as Violet immediately stood. "How do you know my name??" said Violet. "I know a lot about you and your family and so does my father." said Soulblade. "Wait a minute...your father.." said Violet. "Yes, my father is Nightmare." said Soulblade. "You must be here to kidnap me!!" screamed Violet. "Say what?! Look if I was kidnapping you, I would've took you to my father but I didn't. You don't know my life." exclaimed Soulblade. Violet calmed down. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to overreact, please tell me about yourself if you don't mind." said Violet as she sat down. Soul explained his past of his struggles ever since his mother died and was under his father's wing and how he forced him to kill people when he refused. One day he ran away and decided to use his powers for good and have a change of heart of his personality. "Your father tried to make you kill people?" asked Violet. "Yes. My mother would be outraged if she found out about this." said Soulblade. "Do you have a real name?" asked Violet as he shook his head.
