Chapter 19: The Final Stand

The Incredibles and Amoux head off to the city to hunt down the villain. "Ok, remember the plan. Stay discreet and check the roofs and under the buildings. This guy could be anywhere. I'll remain in the city and see what I can find." said Amoux as he turned into a wolf and scavenged the streets. "Okay, I got word from Dicker. He said the NSA has checked every bunker under the buildings. Nothing. Wait, one of their cameras got cut off at the abandoned building on the docks. He said there was a man in dark clothing wearing a wolf mask." said Bob. "Alright, we'll go there now." said Elastigirl as they all headed to the docks. "Alright, stay quiet." said Bob as they stealthily make their way to the end of the docks with a green light. "Alright, on my go. 3, 2, 1!" said Bob as they all entered the room. They see a figure in a chair. "You came. I've been waiting for you." said the figure as suddenly wolves surrounded them. Meanwhile, Amoux finished scavenging the city, he was waiting for a response from the Incredibles, but nothing. "Alright, that's it, I'm going in. They're not responding." said Amoux. He makes it to the docks and makes his way to the area. It was silent. "It's quiet. Too quiet." said Amoux as he got in a fighting stance. Suddenly, a wolf leaped towards him. He immediately punches to the ground. He then sees a group of wolves. Then a figure approaches. "Hello, Amoux. Or should I say Chris?" said the figure as Chris gasped. "How do you know my name?" said Amoux. "You don't remember, don't you?" said the figure as he revealed his identity. Amoux gasped. It was his old foe, Vigor. "Vigor? You were behind this? Why?" asked Amoux. "Your father, was chosen to be the Mythic Wolf and now you have his power!" roared Vigor. "That's what this is about?! You were jealous of not being chosen?! You hurt innocent people!!" roared Amoux. "When I kill you, I'll kill your friends!" said Vigor as he sends his wolves to attack. Amoux gets in his stance. He tried to overpower them but he was overwhelmed and launched into far distance.  "There's too many of them." said Amoux. "Hey Chris." said a voice. He slowly turns and sees his girlfriend, Aurora. "Carla? What are you doing here? I told you to stay home where it's safe!" said Amoux. "While what? Just to see my boyfriend be killed and not meet his child? I don't think so." said Aurora as she helped him up. "I'm sorry. I just don't want to see you get hurt or the child." said Amoux. "I understand, sweetie. Now how about we focus on them and focus on us later?" said Aurora. "Still. We're outnumbered. There's too many of them, we might need some help." said Amoux. "Which is why I called in backup." said Aurora as suddenly an army of wolves appeared behind them. "Where'd you find these guys?" asked Amoux. "Your father was a leader of the Nightwolves Tribe. This is his pack and ever since passing his power to you, you've become leader." said Aurora. "How did you know about that?" asked Amoux. "I got a little nosy and found a book that had your father's writing in it." said Aurora. "Alright brother wolves! Hold off his army and free the Incredibles! Charge!!" said Amoux as they all charged towards them. It would soon be a battle for the ages. The wolves were able to cut down the Incredibles as Amoux set them free. The Incredibles soon joined Amoux, Aurora and the wolves to aid them. "Vigor! Face me!" said Amoux as he glared at him. "As you wish." said Vigor as he charged towards him. The two foes fought as Amoux gained the upperhand. Vigor chuckled as his fists was filled with flame and launches towards him, sending him back into the forest. "CHRIS!!" yelled Aurora as she sprinted to the forest.
