Kalechi
The last few days we been up and down with preparing for the wedding. It was a headache. Today I was going for cake tasting so I wore my floral long maxi dress. Had my hair in a neat bun and walked out. Luyanda was gone for a meeting at one of the hospitals to see if there is anything we can help with. I bumped to Smanga by the passage on the way out.
Smanga: Where you going looking so fine
Me: cake tasting
Smanga: Can i take 5 minute of your time please. He looked serious so we walked to the nearest room and he closed the door locking it than turned so fast and smashed his lips on my and with seconds he had hands all over me and I was pinned against the wall. Kalechi:i pray I bump into no one going to our house.
Me: ill walk you out. I wore my pants and we walked to the door as we opened the door there stood my father with a few elders and councillors and the minister of water affairs.
Dad: out of all the rooms?
The guys were trying to hold they laughter as I pushed kalechi behind me and she had her head in my back embarrassed.
Me: please use the other boardroom.
Chief: I see you working on getting us a heir?
They roared with laughter as the turned and walked away.
Me: Am so sorry
Kalechi: I wont be able to look at your father again. She grabbed the cloth and ran.
Luyanda
I walked out the hospital and saw the guy who brought us drinks the other day. I think his name is Bokang
Him: Fancy meeting you here.
I smiled and was about to get in the royal car.
Him: Bokang
Me: Luyanda
Bokang: Yes the Queens friend and assistant
Me: I see you still here
Bokang: unfinished business.
Me: well hope it works out. He took out a card and gave to me.
Bokang: Call me for lunch sometime.
Me: Me?
Bokang: yes you
He winked and got in the hospital. I looked at the card and looked where he vanished too.
Me: a whole king wants me for lunch? Impossible. His up to something. I got in the car and it drove me to the palace. I got there to hear the Queen is out for cake tasting so I walked to the king office and found him looking at his screen. I knocked and he looked at me removing his glasses. I fished out the card from my bag
King: How was the hospital meeting
Me: Good. We have an appointment
King: And you not here because of that?
Me: i serve to the kingdom and I fear there is something sinister about the king of Lesotho
King: Bokang is here?
Me: You didn't know?
King: No I didn't know
Me: its been a week he brought us drinks last time
King: You and?
I looked away.
King: so his the guy that brought you drinks?
Me: Yes
King: now what worries you?
Me: he asked me out for lunch
He looked at me confused.
Me: Man like him don't ask people like me to lunch
King: i see. What are your worries exactly luyanda?
Me: No kings visits another kings home and doesn't even avail himself to great the owner. Worse his making moves on the wife of that king.
King: Excuse me????.....
I felt my bones chill at how he looked at me....
