When Will gets up that morning for school, he's way less than enthusiastic.

He doesn't feel like facing Troy and his friends again, and if he has to he's certain something in him may snap again. He was sort of scared..

"Mom, I don't feel so good .." He complains to Joyce in the morning.

"What's wrong, sweetie?" She says, walking behind him and patting his head as she walks by to the kitchen.

"My stomach hurts .." He whines, though she simply ushers him to eat some breakfast before he heads out the door as she's too busy getting ready for work to really do anything else.

He swallows but agrees as he doesn't want to get on her bad side again, and he pours himself a bowl of honey - nut cheerios and milk.

He admires the sound of his cheerios mixing themselves through - out the bowl as he mixes the milk with them, and he sets the milk jug back into the fridge as he sits down to enjoy his small breakfast before he heads out for the day.

He sighs once he's finished, tossing the dish in the sink with a 'clink!' and heading off to school on his bike like usual.

As Will bikes, eventually he catches up to Mike, Dustin, and Lucas who were already on their way to school on their bikes per their daily routine for the past few years.

He knew that Max would be on her way to school about now by skate - board or Billy giving her a ride, and El via Hopper's car.

"Hi guys," He chirps, and they wave to him, all with even smiles as they greeted him as if they had been programmed to do so.

He felt as though today would surely be a good day, as he could fore - see it already by how this morning could go.

The only bad thing so far was the fact that his honey - nut cheerios and milk were churning uncomfortably in his stomach, in a way that made him sickly and he felt a bit ill as he pedalled to school.

He didn't know quite what it was that made his stomach feel cold, in a pit somewhere at the very bottom, but he knew it couldn't be good.

Other - wise, his day had been going fantastic. Even the sun - rise brightened his mood just the tiniest bit as he listened to the birds chirp some more.

They get to the school, and surprisingly Will is still in one piece.

He thinks his misery has gone luckily
un - noticed as they park their bikes outside the school at the bike - rack, until he feels a hand on his shoulder and a voice whispering softly in his ear.

Mike.

"Are you okay?" He whispers soothingly into his boyfriends ear. "You're really pale.. do you need anything?"

Will feels his face flush even more and he shakes his head as he feels his palms start to get clammy as he suddenly really doesn't feel good now that Mike had drawn attention to it.

He's grateful for the fact that Mike had kept it on the low between them.. quietly pulling him back and asking him, but the fact he had whispered it so softly in his ear was really not helping his cause and his stomach felt even more sickly than before.

He feels his mouth get dry and he swallows back the only saliva left in his mouth, blankly staring ahead of him as he thinks of a response.

Will nods. "I'm okay. Just have a cold.."

"Are you sure?" Mike says softly, though starting to back off of him. "I can help you to the nurse or.. or I'll ride home with you?"

"I'm sure," Will says, though he shakes his head as he says it and Mike isn't sure he exactly trusts him on this one.
