I just landed from my evening flight when my co-worker sent me a screenshot of the Co Network update. Nakagat ko ang loob ng labi ko sa balita. I looked at my phone when it vibrated, and I was surprised when I saw the person's name calling me. For the first time, Leon called me. Hindi ko ito sinagot at hinintay lang mamatay ang tawag niya.
Bakit, sino ba siya? Sa issue niya tinapos ang relasyon namin. Tiningnan ko notification banner ko nang may lumitaw. Natawa ako nang makita na punong-puno ang notification ko ng nonsense tweets.

Natingin lang naman ako ng updates, 'eh.
"It's alright, Ma. At least publicly single na ako 'di ba?" I proudly said, smirking. "What if isa sa kanila umiyak sa media? 'Yung iyak na mukhang chimpazee."
"Ikaw 'yun," pag oppose niya. "tawa-tawa now, iyak-iyak later."
"Nope," umiling ako. "Hindi ako affected kahit isang butil ng tubig! And I already prepared for this day to come."
I scoffed as I recalled how I had cried for weeks when I accidentally saw Leon's chat history. Nagkikita na pala sila bago pa ang taping ng Marahuyo. Tangina, I questioned my worth, my dignity for every sex, and my appearance because of him.
