Venti was dragging Xiao through Springvale.
The past few days, Venti had shown him some of his favorite places around Mondstadt.

Now, they were walking towards the city of Mond.
"Do we really have to go there?" Xiao asked, obviously not amused about the idea of having to visit a place full of people.
Vent just chuckled and replied, "Come on, it's not that bad there. Besides- I have to show you Angels Share!"
"And what's that supposed to be?"
"The best tavern around these parts of Teyvat!"

Xiao sighed. Arguing with the bard had never led to anything.
So he just followed him over the huge bridge and through the city gate.

The shops were busy like always and there were many people out on the streets.
"Alright, where to go first?" Venti asked.
Xiao shrugged his shoulders.
The bard smiled. "Good Hunter it is!"

As the two arrived at Good Hunter, Venti steppet forward and greeted Sara.
"Hey there Venti, you're here in company as I see. What would you like?"
"Could we get some chicken mushroom skewers?"
"Sure thing," she replied.

Venti turned around to face Xiao.
"So how do you like it in Mond?" he asked, smiling.
"Just like any other city."
"Huh, really no difference?"
"All crowded."
"Yeah but no difference at all?!"
"Hmm... I like the wind. And the air is fresh."

The bard laughed. Xiao certainly wasn't good at finding things interesting.

"Your skewers," Sara said from beind the counter, handing the food to Venti.
He smiled and replied, "Thank you Sara! Uhm- Xiao, do you happen to uhh... have some mora on you?"
The Yaksha sighed and gave Venti a few golden coins.

"Ehe~ thanks!" he replied, giving the money to Sara, who could hardly resist chuckling over the bard having no mora like usual.

As the two walked towards the great plaza with the Barbatos statue, Venti handed one of skewers to Xiao.
"Here, try some! Come on, they aren't that bad."
Frowning, Xiao took a bite. It had been a while since he last ate something different to almond tofu.

"How is it?" Venti asked, jumping up and down impatiently as he waited for the Yaksha to respond.
"I prefer almond tofu."
"Yeah I know that but how is it?"
"..."
"It's not terrible, right?"
"I guess it's okay..."

Venti smiled. "Told ya!"
Xiao couldn't resist to smirk a bit aswell. The bard was always so cheerful, it almost seemed contagious.

The two walked to the railing underneath the great statue and ate the remaining skewers.
There was a comfortable silence between them and both enjoyed the other's company.

After finishing the meal, they stood there in silence for a while longer.
"Alright, is there any other place you want to visit?" Venti asked, stepping away from the railing and stretching his arms.
The Yaksha shrugged his shoulders. "Not like coming here was my idea."

The bard pouted. "Oh come on! It's fun, admit it."
Xiao smirked again. It was fun, it really was. Though it had nothing to do with Mond, he just liked hanging around with Venti.

"Whatever, let's go to Angels Share!"
Venti smiled again, turned around and began walking down the stairs.

As they were walking through the streets, the sun already began to set, bathing the houses in a golden light.
"Hah, I just love the evenings in Mond. It's pretty, isn't it?"
"Mhm," Xiao replied mesmerized by the Beautiful atmosphere.
Lost in thought, he grabbed the bards hand.

On their way to the tavern, Venti showed Xiao some other buildings but the Yaksha wasn't really paying attention.

"Here we are, this is Angels Share."
They stopped in front of a building with a blue roof, which didn't really look particularly different to the rest of the city.
Though, the two could clearly hear voices and music from inside.
