Boruto and menma just turned 10, when blonde decided he, itachi and kids should go back to the village. He did ask orochimaru about coming but the sanin had other plans as he said he wont be going to the village any time soon, not after completing something that he been waiting for years. Which blonde completely understood.

It's not like over ten years the hidden leaf village didnt look for blonde, and his whereabouts. When naruto was stable he send letter to kakashi, tsunade, gaara, killer bee, rest of his friends regarding the situation and to why he wasnt at village. They send a reply back, letting him know they completely understand and support what being going through blonde's mind. Naruto also mentioned about itachi in his letters, telling how the man was still alive and it was due to orochimaru. He also mentioned that they are about to get married which gaara insisted to fix a date as him and lee were too.

During gaara, lee, naruto and itachi's marriage they met itachi officially. All kages were precent, they agreed and taking raven's name from hit list and also conformed he is the double agent who worked for the village to save the world. They even congratulated blonde for the babies kakashi even mentioned that when he id ready to come back let him know as he had a huge surprise.

Naruto never once stoped going for mission, after his children was born he did take one year off as he wanted the babies to turn 1yr, so he can continue going to the mission which kakashi personally asked him to do with help of itachi. Naruto didnt have to worry as kurama asked his other half to come, to take care of kids. He, orochimaru and karin took really good care of the kids when naruto and itachi went for mission. Naruto made sure he had prepared babes milk, e made sure both kids got his breast milk, he even instructed kurama what to be done, how warm the milk should be and everything, orochimaru took initiation of cleaning and getting babies dressed, while karin helps babies to sleep. Those three were huge help when both kids parents were on mission. When naruto came back he wont leave his kids, until they were asleep, he made sure they get their mother's attention.

Now boruto and menma was already pretty matured for their age and naruto knew they had to start their academy, so it was decided that blonde wanted to go back to his village, since he did live for 10 yrs completely diffrent place. He informed kakashi that he and his family will be coming back to village. As soon as they steped their foot on the village ground they saw everyone eagerly waiting for him.

Everyone wads there, even sasuke. They all were waiting for them. Naruto could see sasuke was standing beside sakura, while hinata was next to tsunade, which he didnt understand what happened, he could see genuine smile form other except for two people, which he didnt care and also didnt mind. Itachi was glad that he could come back to village and start a peaceful life with his beloved.

After greeting they went directly to kage tower, where them and their kids and blonde former class mates and team mates were present. Kakashi smiled as he looked at naruto, " i am glad that you came back, so this is the letter i wanted to give you it has everything written there so you will know accourdingly what to be done. In the mean time tsunade sama made sure for your accommodation, and yes you can let the kids join when you want but for the mean time they need to take test as itachi did. " he handed the envelope to blonde.

Sakura didnt waste any time as she looked at blonde, " so where were you for these past ten years, when you came you also brought two kids with you. This dont add up, why did you leave sasuke kun in dust and now you have a while family, i dont get it."  Making naruto look back at sakura, blonde just smiled knowing she hasn't changed a bit rather being old.
