joong-ki met taecyeon at the law firm. they walked in together and sat at the round table. they went through the files, scribbled on some paperwork, fought like cats and dogs and spent the day preparing for their upcoming case which they would have to fight against in the court.
at 5 PM, taecyeon came with a grave face to joong-ki and said, "the chairman has said that only i have to present and fight against the case in the court. you can't come. how will i be able to do this when i won't have you by my side?"
"don't worry." joong-ki said. "you've lost only 2 cases your entire life. its okay."
"yeah, and this could be my third." taecyeon said. "kang so-pil is the third best lawyer in the world, what if she- "
"and you're the second." joong-ki interrupted. "its okay, relax."
"i'm trying to." taecyeon said, gulping down some coffee.
joong-ki shook his head and continued doing his work. he didn't exactly understand taecyeon because taecyeon had lost 2 cases in his whole life, but joong-ki never lost any case.
(2 days later)
"come on, lets go home." joong-ki said. "i'll ride you."
taecyeon immediately blushed. he knew that joong-ki didn't mean that ride, but it was still pretty flustering for him.
they got in the car, and joong-ki put some calming music for taecyeon to make him relaxed. but it only made taecyeon feel more guilty. joong-ki did so much for him and he didn't even know about taecyeon's darkest secret, the secret that could change their whole friendship.
"actually, i wanted to stop somewhere else." taecyeon said.
"where?" joong-ki said.
"turn left." taecyeon said. joong-ki turned left.
"you see that roundabout over there? go straight and then turn right, then straight until you see a wine shop. then turn left."
joong-ki had some difficulty remembering the instructions, but he followed what taecyeon said. in the end, he reached where taecyeon wanted to be.
"thanks." taecyeon said, getting out of the car.
"but this is a huge building." joong-ki said. "what do you wanna do here?"
taecyeon pursed his lips for a second before he said, "i'm visiting my friend."
"oh, well okay. goodbye." joong-ki said. he started the engine and drove off.
taecyeon entered the building and the employees immediately bowed down to him. he continued walking until he reached the elevator.
he pressed a button and the elevator went up and up until it stopped. the elevator doors opened and he entered the top floor of the building, and over here the employees also bowed down to him. he went to the office and a few minutes later, a girl aged 22 entered the office.
"boss, i've ran a background check on our drug dealer, here are the files." she said while handing the files to him. he took them and examined them carefully.
"his name is song moon-hyuk, aged 29 and has one brother." the girl said. "forgot his name, but its written there."
taecyeon almost fainted when he saw who song moon-hyuk's brother was.
"boss, is everything alright?" the girl asked worriedly.
before she knew it, taecyeon had almost collapsed and would have fallen down to the ground if she hadn't held him by his arms.
"boss!"
(when u realize that taecyeon is actually a CEO, a rapper, kpop idol, actor, songwriter, director and model in real life. *faints*)
