the drive from the court to home was silent. ever since the reporters had come and tried to grab junho, he had been scared as fuck, but had become more scared when taecyeon's eyes literally turned red, he stomped forward and grabbed junho, then fought any of the reporters who were blocking his way.
"uh...taecyeon?" junho said later in the car.
"hm?" taecyeon said, looking away from the window and to junho.
"um....thank you...for....saving me....from the crowd." junho said.
"no problem." taecyeon said, nodding his head.
soon they reached home, and taecyeon and junho got out of the car. taecyeon entered the password and the door opened, letting them both inside.
"oh...i forgot....i need to go somewhere in about half an hour." taecyeon informed him.
"sure, no problem." junho replied.
half an hour later junho watched taecyeon leave the house. taecyeon sat in the car and drove off to his company.
20 minutes later he reached the building and went inside. the receptionist bowed and called out to him.
"excuse me boss. i was just wondering if i might have a word with you?" she asked.
"sure, what is it?" he asked.
"well, um, there is someone who wanted to see you. and of course, i told him that he had to schedule an appointment to see dong yeon, the CEO." she said.
"alright. so? whats wrong with that?" taecyeon asked.
"the thing is, boss, he became quite angry and told me that he wanted to see the real CEO." she told him. "and of course, like you've instructed me and all the other employees to, i told him that dong yeon is the real CEO, and asked him what he's talking about."
"who is this person?" taecyeon asked, becoming angry himself.
"that is something i do not quite know, boss." she said apologetically. "but he has been waiting for the past 15 minutes, and i think maybe you would want to see him?"
"i'll go now." taecyeon said. "do you have any idea who told him who the real CEO is?"
"i'm afraid i do not know that, boss." she said.
"why did you allow him to see me without an appointment?" taecyeon asked. "thats literally carelessness at its peak."
"i'm sorry, boss." she said, bowing again.
taecyeon went to the elevator and pressed the button. the doors slid open and he saw his secretary getting out.
"miss kim! how many times have i told you not to let anyone in without an appointment?" he raved.
"i'm sorry, boss. that person was just too convincing and pretty scary. he's waiting for you." she replied.
taecyeon reached the top floor where his office was and went out of the elevator and towards his office. he assumed that this mysterious person must be inside. again, he wondered who told him who the real CEO was.
he opened the door and went inside, and almost choked when he saw who it was.
"no, no, this can't be happening." he muttered to himself.
"good to see you too, taecyeon." joong-ki said.
