Chapter 2

the place where joong-ki had taken taecyeon to wasn't grand or anything. it was just trees around and a path in between.

they walked in the 'forest', as taecyeon said. joong-ki told him that something cool was going to come after this, but taecyeon wasn't so sure. 

"are you okay?"

taecyeon looked up, surprised by what joong-ki had just asked.

"yeah of course." he answered.

"really? i don't think so." joong-ki said, looking hard at him. "is everything okay?"

"yeah. why are you asking?"

"because you look sad."

"i'm not said, i'm really not sad." taecyeon said. "and everything is alright, so you don't have to worry."

suddenly, taecyeon felt a hand grab his waist. joong-ki pulled taecyeon closer to him and whispered, "i know something is alright." joong-ki said. "its about me, isn't it?"

taecyeon was scared of how easily joong-ki could read his mind. "h-how did you know?" he stuttered.

"meh, i just knew." joong-ki shrugged. "but you need to remember that if i'm being nice to you, you'd better appreciate it, because you know that i can easily become rude and mean with you, right?"

"y-yes." taecyeon stuttered.

"good." he said letting him go. then he changed all of a sudden and said, "come on, lets continue with our walk."

"sure." taecyeon said. he was used to these changes of joong-ki.

they walked for a few minutes before joong-ki suddenly took taecyeon's hand. 

"you must be very quiet now." joong-ki said. "we're coming to the exciting bit."

taecyeon expected 'expecting' as in a fight with a bear or something, but instead he saw something beautiful. the path lead to a bridge illuminated with bright lights and the ocean underneath the bridge. no one was there, it was just the two of them.

"its beautiful." taecyeon said, looking around.

"i thought that a place with no people would be peaceful, so i brought you here." joong-ki said. he led taecyeon forward and stopped after some time. 

"you can clearly see the ocean from here." joong-ki said. "do you like it?"

"i love it." taecyeon said, and he meant it. he had never been happier.

"everything is so peaceful here. thank you so much joong-ki." taecyeon said, stepping closer to him.

"its okay. i'm just glad that you like it," joong-ki said. "happy birthday taecyeon."

"thanks." taecyeon said, smiling.

taecyeon couldn't explain the feeling when joong-ki stepped so close to taecyeon that their heads were 2 inches away from each other. it was like butterflies in his stomach. was this what people call love? or was he just going crazy?

he couldn't help but notice that joong-ki was so handsome up close. his sexy face was so close to him, taecyeon was so confused about what to say. his eyes suddenly travelled to his lips, those perfectly shaped lips.

"you're staring at my lips, taecyeon." joong-ki whispered, and then smirked. "do you perhaps want to taste them?"

taecyeon was speechless. how the fuck does someone reply to that?  he thought.

"let me know when you've thought of an answer." joong-ki said, stepping away from him.

"s-sure." taecyeon said, surprised by joong-ki's confidence.
