"hey joong-ki, can i meet you in.....15 minutes at the park if thats fine with you?" dong yeon asked on the phone.

"sure." joong-ki said. "what do you wanna talk about?"

"i'll tell you that later." dong yeon said. they hung up and dong yeon quickly dressed. then he went downstairs and was about to unlock the door when taecyeon stopped him.

"where are you going?" he asked.

"i'm meeting my friend." dong yeon said.

"when will you be back?" taecyeon asked.

"i'll be back before 12 PM. you can rely on me." dong yeon said. taecyeon nodded and dong yeon went outside.

he walked to the park and looked around for joong-ki. he saw him sitting on a bench and he joined him.

"so what do you wanna talk about?" joong-ki asked after they both had settled down.

"its about taecyeon." he replied. joong-ki nodded.

"when taecyeon was 6, he started acting so weird, doing things which a normal person would never do." dong yeon began. "and our dad got worried, thinking he might have a disorder or something. so he took him to a therapist when he was 15. and when he was 16....." dong yeon stopped and looked down, fidgeting with his fingers as if he was remembering that dreaded memory.

"what happened?" joong-ki asked.

"he-he got diagnosed as a psychopath." dong yeon said.

joong-ki looked at him, shocked. "what-what do you mean? are you saying that he's a psychopath?"

"he is." dong yeon said. "let me ask you a question. what have you seen of taecyeon?"

"well, his dimples seem pretty cute to me. and his eyes are really pretty too. and...he takes work very seriously but he's also in for a break. i've seen recording and writing songs when he's free. he released 2 of them as well, right?"

"yeah." dong yeon said. "resulting into him not being able to walk on the streets without having to sign autographs of millions of fangirls waving as if they're calling for a taxi." dong yeon rolled his eyes.

"anyways, he kills people who wrong him or betray him. to him, killing is nothing. its as simple as brushing his teeth and tying his shoe laces. its nothing to him."

"you mean he-"

"my dad was always scared that he would become a serial killer, so he sent him to the states to get rid of him. but taecyeon came back after 6 years and then he...."

"he what?"

"he killed our dad."

"what the fuck?!"

"he did."

"so what happened after that?"

"here's the thing." dong yeon said. "i suppose you might know about hover-intellect enterprises, am i right?"

"yes of course. its your company, right?" joong-ki said.

"no, its not mine. its taecyeon's." dong yeon said.

joong-ki's mouth opened in shock. he was dumbfounded. was dong yeon pulling his leg? there was no trace of joking on dong yeon's face, so joong-ki realized that it might be true after all.

"but-but how?" he asked.

"he didn't want anyone knowing that he's the CEO of hover-intellect enterprises. so he made me the fake CEO, making me pretend that i run the company. whatever happens, i report to him immediately. if i do something wrong, he'll beat the hell out of me. he's very scary. but he's a very controlled psychopath. he plans everything carefully, every single detail. i'm awfully scared of him." dong yeon said.

"but why are you telling me this?" joong-ki asked, confused.

"because i want you to be careful. you have no idea how scary he can be." dong yeon said.

"our partnership time has ended already." joong-ki said. "so i don't think he would do anything to me. but don't worry, i know how to protect myself. i'll be alright." he looked at his watch and said, "i have to go now. i'll see you soon. and take care."

he left the park and some minutes later he approached the empty street. he walked as he listened to his feet crumble the loose bricks near the construction building. he walked back home with a grim feeling.

he never knew taecyeon could be like this.

he never knew taecyeon could be a psychopath.

but even after all the things taecyeon had done, joong-ki still wondered if taecyeon was alright after he had rejected him.

he hoped he was.
