Emily's P.O.V.
School had ended five minutes ago and I'm currently waiting for Jake, but I think he already left. I guess I'll just go home then. I know I said I didn't want them to walk home with me but they're like family to me. I begin making my way home when suddenly,
"Emily, wait up!" I turn to see Sam, Mike, and Jake running up from behind me trying to catch up. Once the three are standing in front of me I give them a few minutes to catch their breath.
"We know you probably don't want us walking with you home, but you never said anything about walking with us to our houses." Jake says with a shrug of his shoulders. I softly smile. Way to break the system guys.
All of us begin walking home with Jake and I talking about random things, while Sam and Mike are arguing. Something about a book I think. Those two are always arguing but they always end up making up in the end. One time they were arguing over chocolate. Chocolate! Sam thought dark chocolate was better while Mike thought milk chocolate was better. Jake and I had stayed out of the argument but I'm pretty sure Jake has his opinion and I have mine. We decided to stay out of the argument though since we thought it was a pretty stupid topic, well, I did anyway. Sam and Mike soon departed from Jake seeing as we either walked pass their house or we were close by. Jake and I stayed silent for the rest of the walk since we have nothing else to talk about or share, but soon it's Jake's turn to go home.
"Thanks." I say as Jake begins making his way to his house. Jake turns around and gives me a confused expression.
"For what?"
"For walking home with me." Jake smiles but soon his smile disappears and turns into a frown.
"Emily, about what I said at lunch."
"Don't worry about it, besides, you were right. If Diana wanted to stop us, all she would have to do is get rid of me."
"I didn't mean it though. It's just... I'm worried that if she gets rid of you she'll be here forever and we won't ever come as close to where we are now without you." I softly smile at Jake.
"Don't worry Jake. We'll send her back to where she came, destroy her if we have to." Jake gives me a small smile back.
Once I see Jake reach his porch I continue my walk home alone in silence with nature and the sounds of my feet hitting the ground, with every step I take, to be the only noise to reach my ears. Finally, after a couple of minutes to myself with only nature, I reach my house. I open the door and head inside closing the door behind me. I quickly put my stuff down but once I look up I wish I hadn't. There ,in a dark corner, stood Diana in all her ferociousness. I don't like seeing her, especially with all that had happened in her past and with what is happening now. I put my head down towards the floor incapable of looking her in the eyes.
Diana's P.O.V.
I have to get rid of Emily. She is a threat to me. Tomorrow is Saturday meaning her friends and her will have a chance to destroy me. Terminate me if they will. I can't allow this to happen. I won't allow this, I just won't! The only reason to why Emily is so close to destroying me is because of that pesky, meddling, spy, ghost Dorothy. If only I could destroy that pesky ghost girl. Then I would be capable of stopping Emily and her meddling friends. I could continue to use Josh but he takes away a lot of my energy. However, maybe I can stop Emily another way. I silently stare at Emily as she stares back at me with her twinkling blue eyes. She soon puts her head down, breaking eye contact with me, and silently walks away.
