Chapter 7

Next day pete and big went to their temporary bosses. Big went to khun kan’s room where he was welcomed by kan’s fierce anger hidden behind his fake smile, ‘welcome big, I hope nop have told you everything you need to know about while working here’ kan said. Big very well knew what kan meant by this because the only thing nop told him and pete was not to do anything that shouldn't be done, but this is what he came here for, to know exactly those things.

On the other hand, when pete went to greet vegas in his office and he was nowhere to be found, suddenly one bodyguard came and informed pete that vegas asked for him in his room and he showed him the door which opened directly to vegas’ room. As pete entered he could see vegas sitting on his bed in his night dress. With his messy hair falling casually on his forehead and his eyes glued to his iPad, his plumply pink lips moving as he was reading something, but for pete it seems as if they were asking him to hold them with his own lips and vegas’ body, he was wearing just a robe & pajamas and robe was wide open showing off his very well carved physique. His body seemed flawless yet strong, while he was sitting his abs were visible and his hands holding that iPad, Pete never thought that holding an iPad could be this sexy. Vegas was looking like a model modelling for night dress or Ipad whatever, but in no case he can just wake and look this lusciously hottttt and pete was already burning in that hotness.

‘Are you done checking me out or should I wait’, vegas’ sudden comment pulled pete back to reality and he was embarrassed. He just wanted this floor to break apart and pull him in. He was literally caught by vegas checking him out and this is only the first day, how the rest of his time with him will go only god knows that. He immediately bowed his head down and apologized, ‘sorry khun vegas, I didn’t mean to, I was thinking something so I got lost in the thought’, pete tried to lie to ease the tension, but it was vegas and he had decided to not leave a single opportunity to make pete suffer.

Vegas POV

When I saw pete in my office in the morning, he looked like a kid on his first day in a new school, looking everywhere trying to learn and understand his surroundings. Sometimes I think about how he is the head bodyguard, like what skill does he have besides that dimpled smile. I can say he is really loyal but can he really fight, can he really face goons, can he even handle chaotic situations or he just there to watch drama and play games with that mad cousin of mine, but as per my beloved cousin kinn he is among his best and most smart bodyguard…yeah…like really very smart to be caught by me on his first day of spying..hahaha.

Fine…for now let's keep all the emotions I feel aside and play with him a little. So, I called him in my room, look I don’t want to sound rude but I know that I am sexy and attractive and I make an effort to keep myself like that. So I purposely sat on my bed exposing my torso and behaved like I didn’t noticed when pete came inside and after few minutes I felt someone’s eyes on me and when I looked up it was pete who was looking at me intensely, checking out every portion of my body and I literally smiled and caught him red handed by calling him out, ‘‘Are you done checking me out or should I wait’, oh god was a sight to watch, as I said those words pete got shocked and was all embarrassed. Although if I be honest with myself I kind of liked him checking me out, it was like I felt nice with his eyes on me on, on my body and I wanted them to stay as long as possible but again I can’t think like that he is just a bodyguard moreover he is spy send by major family and I have to treat me like that, not like how I feel about him from time to time and how my emotions betray me several times when he is nearby.

Pete POV

What a worst way to start my very first day at a minor family. I was caught, not for stealing, not while taking out some information, not even for spying but for checking out the heir of minor family and literally looking at him like a lovestuck teenage girl looking at his favorite idol, which I honestly didn’t wanted to but cannot help because khun vegas is far-far more beautiful and hotter than those idols. O God pete not again…why my own thoughts betray in mid-way whenever I try to convince myself to not focus so much on him. Please God help me, you can’t be so cruel to me. Help me to remain focused on my mission and not get confused or misled because of him. So, as I was caught I tried to lie that I was lost in some thoughts and was not checking him out, but I can see that vegas wasn’t convinced with reply as he was smirked at my reply like he knew I was trying to cover up me stupidity with another stupid lie. But I couldn’t help, neither I can accept that I was checking him out nor I can run away from the situation, so it's better to stay there and face the embarrassment.

Situation

After this morning’s embarrassment pete pulled himself together, greeted vegas and asked about the duties he has to perform, to which vegas replied that he has to go to meet some client and he wants him to accompany him. They’ll leave in an hour so he should get ready. Besides Pete vegas took his  most trustworthy bodyguard nop with him to the meeting. Actually this meeting was absolutely not necessary and not at all important for vegas but he had planned this whole thing to understand the method of pete’s working like he will follow him and try to extract as much information as possible and if it gets to the kinn or korn and they anyhow talk about it in next monthly meeting, It will be a confirmation about pete’s spying and he’ll have the evidence to prove it.

So as soon as they reached the meeting location Vegas told Pete and nop to guard outside and he went inside. He already instructed nop to keep a keen eye on pete’s movements and report him from time to time. Pete was standing outside thinking about the ways to get in or to at least manage to get some info out from nop’s mouth but all went in vain. He was thinking about some other way that suddenly they heard some loud noises from inside and some people shouting but it was in some foreign language. So, both nop and pete rushed inside and saw vegas lying on the ground, there was blood flowing on ground from behind his head and two people literally crushing his hand, two other holding his leg and one was literally pointing a rifle over his head.  

As nop and pete tried to come closer the guy with a rifle shouted, ‘if you want your boss to stay alive better to stop wherever you are, or else you’ll have to take him home without his head.’ Pete and nop stopped and stood still and tried to see if Vegas was conscious. Vegas was in a semiconscious state, he was groaning in pain but was not in a state to fight. Seeing this whole situation nop was trying to think for a way out, that suddenly pete gave a flying kick to nop and started kicking and punching him and before anyone including nop could understand, pete already threw nop towards the wall and was ready to attack him again.
