Can two broken souls heal each other

Chapter 2

As soon as meeting got over khun kan got out of the room and it was clear that he was fuming, behind him there was vegas with a straight face walking along with macau. Since no one is allowed inside the meeting room nobody knows what really happened. After minor family left khun korn followed by kinn came out of the room with blank expression, it was always very difficult to know what’s going on in his mind whether he is happy or angry or plotting something.  This guy was like an ocean all calm and silent outside but can be tsunami inside… and that’s what make him different from his brother kan.

After meeting was over kinn called me and big to his room, he wanted to discuss something. As we both entered the room first he told us that whatever he is going to say will stay in this room and no one can & should know about anything outside this room not even prosche, he said that while focusing on me…

According to major family they have got to know that minor family is secretly dealing with their competitors and trying to double cross them. Although they are sure of it but they don’t have solid evidence to throw it on their face and totally break them down. So, For this kinn wants big and pete to gether evidence.

(t/n: since big died while saving Porsche in ep10 of the KP series, I felt bad for him and that’s why rather making him the villain *which he was kind of in novel, I kept him alive and loyal to major family in my fanfic…hehehe)        

 

Kinn to Pete & Big

Kinn – I think we have a mole among us and we have to find it as soon as possible….Pete Big both of you are my most trusted bodyguard and that’s why I am giving you this responsibility…

Big you have to follow khun kan and Pete you have to follow vegas for few days so that you both can know about their life and living pattern and after few days we will get both of their head bodyguards into an accident and you both will replace them. So, you both will get access to their personal life as well. Is that clear!!!

Big kind of asked that how could minor family trust major family’s bodyguard to be their bodyguard to which kinn replied that to make that happen, we’ll start outcasting you both from out important events and dealings and even insult for on few occasions in front of them, just to make them feel that you both are not much important to us now. And as we all know that uncle kan never misses a chance to grab any angry or upset employee of ours just to squeeze out any sort of information from them and this will be your golden ticket. Once their bodyguard will get to the hospital we will offer you both portraying as a helping hand and you both will get an access to their house and to their business.

Both Pete and Big nodded in yes. It was a dangerous mission and kinn’s reason to put pete for vegas and big for kan was their nature. Big was aggressive and more like strong tuff bodyguard which can get along with kan’s implusive personality whereas pete seems more soft although he was physically strong and skilled but his lively personality and smiley face will be easy to get under radar while spying on vegas. After discussing the whole plan big and pete were ready to leave, but kinn stopped pete for a minute. As soon as big left kinn approached pete and put his hand on his shoulder.

“Pete I know that this is a very dangerous mission and as much as I have trust on both of you, I am worried as well. And my worries are more for you than for big, because as ruthless and brutal kan is, he can physically harm big and big is capable enough to handle him, but if we talk about vegas he is a manipulative bastard who can harm you not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. So, I want you to know that the moment you feel that this mission is tearing you apart just come back. You are like a family to me and I don’t want you to be put through any scar or pain which stays on for life.  I know you are strong and can handle yourself but I also know what you have been through….you childhood trauma, your father’s abuse, you grandma and in any situation I don’t want you to face all of it again.”

And with the mention of his father and his childhood pete’s expression immediately changed, smile vanished from his lips, his eyes became bloodshed, his forehead frowned and he hands became sweaty. He immediately put his hand in pocket to so that kinn can’t see them shaking. For pete his childhood and his father are two most painful phases of his life which he don’t ever want to recall. Those memories pain him more than anything. It was his grandma who pulled him out that misery and made him promise her not to held back in life and not to be ‘not happy’ before passing away and till today pete is holding himself pretty well for the sake of his grandma and the promise he made to her.

On the other hand kinn noticed the changed expression of pete after him mentioning about his father and childhood and he immediately realized what he did. He shaked pete to come back to reality and apologised for mentioning it. With kinn immediate retraction pete bows down to kinn saying its ok and he can handle it and also he is more than honoured to kinn for showing so much faith in him. Although inside the trauma which he hides behind his cute face, lovely smile and lively personality knocked again. Pete excused himself from the kinn’s room and cameback to his own and the moment he gets in and locks his door his panic attack, his anxiety comes back. He suddenly becomes hopeless and doesn’t understand how to control himself because those voices are back, “Pete my son you have to do for my sake for your father’s sake otherwise they will kill me….i am sorry but this will be the last time, I promise I’ll deal with it once and for all but for this last time…pete they will do no harm to you just for your father sake…pete it won’t be painful trust me they’ll be gentle with you…” These voices which pete never wanted to hear are coming back again and it needs to stop. Pete searched for his medicine especially sleep pills so that he can put few together in his mouth and sleep this horror off.
