Marik, Malik and Mai

School wasn't that long, I guess. I grab my backpack and walk outside. I start walking home when someone grabbed my arm.

'Huh?' I think to myself. I turn around and look at who grabbed it.

The boy had very spiked hair and was wearing a lavender sweatshirt with lavender eyes.

"Yes?" I ask, as he lets go of my arm. "I'm Marik" he says, waiting for my reply. "Willow" I say.

"Do you have a twin? You look really familiar..." he states. I shake my head no, as far as I know, I'm the only me there is.

"Ok..." Was the only reply I get. Why does this guy think I have a twin? Do a lot of people here have them?

I was thinking to myself when guess who walked up?

Yup. HIS TWIN!

Really, Domino? Really?

"Hello" the new one said. Mariks twin didn't have that spiked up hair. It was more... normal. I guess you can call it that.

"Hi" I reply back. "Sorry if my brother was bothering you." He replys. "I'm Malik by the way." "Willow" was all that came out of my mouth.

"Nice to meet you" Malik says. "Nice to meet you too. And don't worry, Marik wasn't bothering me."

Except he grabbed my arm. Why did he grab my arm? The world may never know.

"But I should get home, nice meeting you two." I say quickly and run off.

I run home and inside. I go upstairs to my room and lay on my bed.

"Willow, sweetie, someone's here to see you." My mom calls from downstairs.

'Ugh...' Was my only thought as I slowly stood up and went downstairs. I walked to where my mom was standing with another woman.

The woman had long, blonde hair, about waist length, a purple miniskirt, and a small purple shirt.

"Hello sweetie" the woman said. "Hi" I reply, kind of quietly. This woman had to be at least 20, how does she know me?

"You must be Willow" she says and I nod. 'And you are...?' I think.

"I'm Mai Valentine."

'Mai... Valentine???? Um... Really??? Mai Valentine???' I think as I giggled a bit.

"It's the name, isn't it?" Mai asks. I didn't mean to offend her... oops.

"Sorry..." I quickly apologize.

"Oh no no no, don't apologize! I make fun of my own name sometimes! I know, it's rather weird." Mai says.

'Ok...' I think.

"Anyways, about why I'm here" Mai says, "I have something for you."

We just met... And she has something for me???

Mai pulls a box from behind her back and hands it to me.

'Huh?'

"Open it" Mai instructs. I do as she said and opened the box. Inside, was a duel disk.

"Wow..." I say to myself. "I heard you dueled but didn't have your own duel disk. So, I bought you one." Mai tells me.

I looked at her, "Thank you so much!" I say. She smiled. "No problem sweetie. But I should go, nice meeting you." Mai said before she left.

I took the duel disk up to my room and looked at it for a while, until my mom came to my doorway.

I looked at her, wondering what she needed.

"Sorry to bother you, Willow. But I was wondering if you wanted to watch your little friend this weekend."

Was she talking about...

"Yes!" It was the one that got me interested in dueling and now I could show him that I can duel.

"Ok, I'll tell his mother." Then my mom walked away.

'I get to watch Jaden again!'
