Must I choose? A Yu-Gi-Oh fanfiction

Too close for comfort

Soon after I started reading, I lay the book face down on my desk, then lay on my bed. I closed my eyes and almost immediately fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and the sun shining on my face. I really need to remember to close my curtain before I fall asleep.

So I rub my eyes, then sit up, stretching and yawning. I yawn again, then sit up.

I walk to the bathroom that was connected to my room then took a quick shower. Once I got out, I wrapped a towel around myself and started brushing my hair.

After I finished, I brushed my teeth then changed into my school uniform. I look into the mirror with a frown, looking at the outfit.

I looked at all of it, from the white shirt, pink jacket, blue bow tie, and very short blue skirt.

I sighed as I walk back into my room, then grab my bag. I check inside of it to make sure I had everything I needed, then walked downstairs.

I walked outside, then to school. Rather quickly since my shower this morning took up a lot more of my time then it usually does.

I walk inside the school and to my locker, opening it and shoving my bag in. Then grab my materials for 1st hour, close my locker and head up to class.

After the last bell rang indicating that school was over, I stood up from my last class then walk to where my locker was.

I opened it, shoved my materials in it and grabbed my bag. I was able to finish all of my homework in class so I was free from it.

I hung my bag on one of my shoulders and started walking out of the school when someone grabbed onto my arm.

I look back, my confused face looking straight into Dukes smirking one.

"Duke?" I ask, confused. "Hey Willow, sorry, but I feel like I need to do something." He says, still smirking.

Still confused, he pulls me out of the school and behind it. I rubbed my arm, a bit worried about what he was planning.

I've seen too many Criminal Minds episodes, so I was pretty worried about what was going to happen.

He pushes me against the wall of the school, as he does, my eyes widen. "D-Duke what are you doing??" I ask.

"Sorry Willow, but I just really like you." He says, then tries to kiss me. Fortunately, I moved my head just in time so he missed.

'I flipping knew this guy was bad news!' I said in my head. I tried to break free from his grip, but he had a tight hold on my arms.

He frowned at me, "aw come on Willow. Just give me one small kiss?" He asked me, I quickly shook my head no.

"Never." I tell him. His frown grew. "Not the response I wanted Willow. If you do, I'll leave you alone." He said, trying to make a deal.

Although, I had a feeling that he was lying. There was no chance of him ever leaving me alone, so why bother trying to make a deal that won't happen?

"Why are you lying?" I ask, trying to distract him so I could find a way to escape his right grip.

"I'm not lying, Willow. I just want a kiss, is that to much to ask for?" He asks, so I nod. He just rolls his eyes.

"Is there a problem here?" I heard a familiar voice call from behind Duke.

'Seto!' I scream out in my head. Duke let's go of me and turns around. "Oh, hey Kaiba. What're you doing out here?" He asks, casually.

"I could ask you the same question, Devlin." Seto says coldly to the black-haired teen. "Now go away, Willow obviously isn't interested in you."

I sighed in relief, then smile when Duke walks off, muttering to himself. "Are you okay Willow?" Seto asked me, I nodded.

"Yeah, thanks for helping me out. I owe you one." I reply to him. He shakes his head, "no you don't. I was just helping you out."

I smile and say my thank you to him, then go home. I run up to my room and close my door, dropping on my bed then shoved my face in my pillow.

I sigh, realizing I'm still in my school uniform. I stand and change into some pajamas, then lay back on my bed.

I curl up in a ball, then cover myself with my comforter. I yawn, then rest my head on my pillow, shutting my eyes.

I smile to myself, thinking about Seto saving me from Duke today. I then fall asleep, having a deep, dreamless sleep.
