Must I choose? A Yu-Gi-Oh fanfiction

I was so excited, I could barely sleep that night. I wasn't sure when he'd be coming, but he was, and that was all that mattered.

The next morning after I was dressed for school, I walk downstairs to the kitchen where I knew my mom would be.

"Good morning, sweetie" my mom says to me. "Morning", I reply. "Did you ask about Jaden?" I ask, getting straight to the point.

"Yes I did, he's coming over this weekend. He'll be here around 6:30 on Friday and will be staying until around 3 on Sunday." My mom says.

'Awesome!' I think to myself.

"See you after school", I say to my mom before walking out of the house. "Have a good day", I hear my mom say.

'It's finally Friday! Jaden will be here in...' I think as I look at my phone. 'Half an hour.' Thank goodness, I can't wait much longer.

I went upstairs after hours of doing nothing but waiting and decide to put my phone on the charger. I've had it on for a while looking at the time, and I wouldn't need it while Jaden was here so I decided to just put it away.

I sat on my bed and started to think.

'I hope Jadens' still into dueling, or else I started for no reason. I really did only start because that little kid was into it. I've been in Domino for almost a month now and I really hope he hasn't changed THAT much since I've left. But who knows, maybe they have...'

I was thinking until I heard my phone start ringing. Who could that be? I stand from my bed and walk over to my desk where my phone was laying, charging.

I pick it up and look at the caller ID. It was an unknown number?

'Must be one of those stupid salespeople...' I think to myself.

I decide not to answer the phone as I press decline. If it was a important call or a person, they'll call again.

Not even a full minute later, the phone starts ringing again, and sure enough, it was the same number as before.

I sighed softly. If it was important... I pick the phone up and press answer before putting it to my ear.

"Hello?" I ask. "Willow!!!" I hear an excited voice say over the phone. I recognizes it immediately.

"Hey Jaden!" I reply back, "what're you doing?"

"Well, I was waiting to go to your house cuz I'm really bored here, but my mommy got sick so she can't take me to your house", I hear Jaden say sadly, I also hear him sniffle a few times.

"Aw that's ok, Jaden. There's always next weekend." I say trying to cheer the younger boy up, even though I was pretty disappointed myself.

"Ya, but your mommy said you started dueling and I wanted to watch!" Jaden says and I could tell their were tears in his eyes.

"Don't worry Jaden, maybe you can come over tomorrow instead." I say before he starts to cry.

"Ok... But promise I'll see you duel soon?"

"Promise."

Thanks for reading! Ok so Jaden wasn't introduced yet, but he will be. I just need to get some more information about him. Unfortunately I'm just kind of guessing his personality seems how I've never watched Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. But I thought it would be cute if Jaden was in here and knew Willow so... yeah. By the way, Willow was named after my friends cat XD, but oh well, I liked the name so I used it! Anyways, Vote and Comment please!! See you next time!!
