I had been sitting here in a daze, staring at the people walking through the busy street for hours from this dark alley. I didn't even know where I was to be honest. In fact, as I thought more, I realized I didn't know who I was.

Finally, I decided to get up. I stood up and brushed myself off. I was wearing a white dress that fell just bellow my knees and some silver strappy stilettos. As I walked out, I stepped in a puddle. I looked down and, once the water settled, saw my reflection for the first time. I had long, pure blonde hair and deep blue eyes that reminded me of the sea. My skin was pale. I stared at my reflection for a while before deciding to continue out of the alley.

I still had no idea what my name was. I thought for a while, and one word came to mind. Brooke. I had to assume that was what my name was.

I walked out of the alley and nobody seemed to notice me. I walked in the same direction everyone else was going. I stayed on this path for a couple of blocks until I noticed a bunch of girls crowding around a car. Curious, I walked over to see why. The door of the car was just opening and guards were pushing the girls back. I stood on my tippy toes to see who was coming out, and there he was.

There were 5 boys, actually, but the one that stood out to me was the one with the hair that stood up in the front. He was the first one to get out. He simply smiled at the girls as he stood up, and the girls screamed like you wouldn't believe. One of the girls in the front shouted, "I LOVE YOU ZAYN!"

Zayn. The name echoed through my thoughts. I didn't know why, but I couldn't stop thinking about him. I guess it was strange to him that I was staring but not screaming. His brown eyes stared into mine for a split second before he was rushed back into the car with the rest of the boys.

The crowd left with the car, but I stayed, staring at the spot where he stood. Finally, I decided it was time to move on and find a place to stay for the night. After all, it was getting dark.
