The trip to New York was longer than I thought. Zayn fell asleep within the first hour. The boys began telling each other jokes but they, too, got bored. By the second hour, they were slumped in their chairs with nothing to do. I craved entertainment just as much as them.
Finally, Louis was fed up with just sitting around and he got up and left the room. A few minutes later, he returned with a smile on his face.
"I talked to the lady. She's going to put on a movie." he said, and the boys instantly sat up, excited by the news ther had just received.
"Harry... what are you doing?" Niall said.
Harry looked up from his phone, looking as though he was surprised that we were there.
"What?" he asked cluelessly.
"You can't be texting- it doesn't work. So, like I said, what are you doing?" Niall said.
"Nothing..." he muttered.
Harry put his phone away in his pocket and sat with the rest of us in a seemingly endless awkward silence.
The television screens lit up suddenly and the movie began to play. At first, I sat back in my chair and ignored the movie, as it was old and I figured it would be boring. However, I looked up just in time to see the title "The Outsiders" flash by on the screen. I remembered that name- it was a book my class had to read back in middle school. Me and my best friend were bored by the cover and asumed it would be, like the other books we had been forced to read. Instead, we ended up finishing it before the rest of the class. Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to see it because I was sick and she had to make up a test.
"Old movie, huh..." Niall said, shoving a fist full of popcorn into his mouth.
"Niall, where did you get the popcorn?" I asked.
"Oh, the flight attendant. She's super nice." he said.
I saw Liam glance at me, but I tried my best to ignore it.
"Well, I never got to see this movie. It was a good book though, so I hope it's good."
"Wait, it's starting!" Harry said with sudden interest.
"When I stepped out into the brightness of the sunlight from the darkness of the movie house, I had only two things on my mind- Paul Newman and a ride home..."

The movie had been paused multiple times because of the boys being... well, being boys. By the end of the movie, however, they were clapping.
"Wow, that was really good." I said, sitting back.
"It would've been better if we hadn't ran out of popcorn." Niall said.
Louis laughed and got up.
"Well, we should be landing soon..."
The plane suddenly jolted forward, causing him to fall.
"What the hell was that?!" he shouted as he began to get up.
"Sorry ladies and gentlemen. Minor malfunction. There's nothing to worry about. We will be landing soon, so please take your seats." the person on the intercom said.
Zayn suddenly woke up in the seat across from me. He took his ear buds out and stretched.
"What'd I miss?" he asked.
"Let's see... A movie, some popcorn, and a plane malfunction." Liam said.
"There's no way I slept through all that." Zayn said.
