Zayne stared at him. Then he laughed. "Okay, very funny. Jokes over okay. Seriously, come over here. I wanna introduce you to her."
Niall looked at him one last time before spinning on his heel and walking away, muttering something that sounded like "crazy I tell you". Zayne rolled his eyes.
"Don't worry about him," he said, "he likes to mess with me alot." He smiled, but I could see in his eyes that he was worried. I walked over and sat on the couch.
He looked around. "Have you seen the remote?" he asked. I looked at the room, which was bigger than it looked, and spotted it on the floor.
"Yah it's right..." I bent down to grab it, but my hand went right through. "...here." I said, finishing my sentence. I looked at Zayn, and he was just as confused as me. I tried once again with the same results. And again. And again.
Finally, I gave up. I looked at Zayn, and he looked... afraid. He reached over to touch my arm and his hand went right through. He went pale. So did I.
"Are you a..." he never finished his sentence. He didn't have to. I knew what he was going to say. Are you a ghost. He stared at me, and I looked away, unable to look him in the eye.
"I don't know."
