"No pulse!? What the hell do you mean!?" I cried.
A tear softly dripped down my cheek, but I didn't really notice it until its iron, salty taste stung my lips.
"Hanna--" Ryan mumbled, pulling me into a hug.
I'm sure at first Skye was jealous, but I needed someone. I couldn't lose Kale. I knew coming here was a bad, bad, badidea, I thought. I just need him to get better. It's killing me to see him laying lifeless again, and for the soon, for the second time in just hours, I watched his limp, lifeless body loaded into the ambulence.
"Thank you," I told Cam.
"I didn't do anything." He mumbled, upset he couldn't do more to help.
"You did a lot." I smiled at him, wiping a tear from my cheek.
"Do you want to stay at my place tonight?" Skye asked.
"Nah, I'll be alright. You stay at Ryan's. I don't wanna ruin your plans."
"You sure?"
"Possitive," I smiled, hugging her.
Her and Ryan turned to leave.
"Call us if you find something out about Kale?" Skye turned back over her shoulder.
"Sure,"
"Or if you need somewhere to crash," Ryan winked, jokingly.
"Thanks, I will."
"Mia, do you want me to take you home?" Cam asked Mia.
I stood awkardly next to them, but my mind drifted to other things. Things pretaining to Kale, and his medical conditions.
"I'll be OK. I'm just going to walk, it's not far from here."
"Baby, let me just take you home."
"I have to get up really early tomorrow for a dance thing, I can't get out of it. Can Hanna stay at your place?"
I snapped back to reality.
"What about Hanna?" I laughed in third person.
"You can stay at Cam's."
"No, no I couldn't--"
"Seriously, Hanna. I don't know you very well, let me get to know Mia's best friend."
"Are you sure you--" I paused, "Wait, Mia, I'm your best friend?"
"Well duh!" She laughed.
"I've known you for like a day,"
"More like two," She smirked.
Her smirk turned into a real smile when I wrapped my arms around her neck, pulling her close.
"Thank you,"
"Anytime, Han."
"So, are we going?" Cam jumped in.
I smiled and weakly nodded. I was still worried about Kale, and I felt guilty not going with him to the hospital, but the E.T.s said that I should just go home and get some sleep. I couldn't go back to Kayla's. It would be so weird. And, I couldn't go to Mia's. I wasn't going to both Ryan and Skye, it was the only night that they had the house to themselves. I guess I'm staying at Cam's.

"Here you are," Cam smiled, pushing open the door to his bedroom.
It was a typical bedroom for a kid his age. He was almost nineteen, and he was gorgeous, but I only wanted Kale, and Mia only wanted Cam. That was just how it was going to stay.
