Before he knew it fast and loud footsteps could be heard approaching the door. The groaning...the dreadful groaning slowly turned into gargles and croaks. The boy quickly placed his back against the door, using all his body weight to keep it shut. Scraaaatch...scraaaatch.. Could audibly be heard on the other side, he didn't want to open it, he didn't want to let it in. Before long the creature started banging on the door shrieking..a inhuman shriek as the banging got stronger, The males body push against the wooden door with the energy he has left, he was fatigued, a lot quicker than he should have been, The door quickly busted open sending the teen falling as he scrambled to get himself back up. The door swung slightly to a halt. He covered his mouth quickly suppressing his panicked breaths..he swore this was the end for him. His eyes widened, his body shaking. He was almost about to break down in tears. A bit of light could be seen by the boarded up window across from him, his dark brown orbs tracked his surroundings as he carefully dragged himself back until his spine hit the cold wall.

His chest rose up and down as his heart rate picked up. The thing...whatever it was was on the opposite side of the door. The male moved his head slightly to see through the crack of the door to see a faint silhouette, its limbs thin and what appeared to be frail almost as if you could snap it in half..god what reeks! Before he took another small whiff of the musty air around him, only to realize it was coming from the creature itself. What it smelled like was rotting flesh and roadkill, almost as if it didn't take a bath for -- however long. The torso, thin with somewhat visible scars, a thinned frame only revealing the sunken in bits of the rib cage. The body of whatever the weird entity was clearly malnourished and taken a beating.
The boy was overthinking, what was he going to do? He's practically trapped in the room with this creature or thing for that matter. The real question was, when was it going to leave? The groans and croaks of the thing slowly started to grow closer as it went into the room. It's like any horror movie, sometimes you escape and sometimes you don't. Will he be lucky?

The creature looked around the room, low growls escaping it's gaping jaws.    As the creature stepped into the room and looked around the boy, hand over his mouth carefully stood up, his body stiffening. His eyes darted around rapidly as he thought of a way to escape the room he was in. The only escape was the door he stood beside, but the real question was would he really risk it? Was all of this worth his life when at some point it could walk away? Thoughts swarmed the teens head as he slowly became overwhelmed, buried in his own thoughts, his breathing picked up drastically, but he had some time to manage it before it became too noticeable. He took a silent deep breath in before quickly sliding past the creature that now had it's back facing the boy, he slipped past the door and silently stepped a few inches away from the door before he started to walk at a moderately fast pace. His eyes filled with fear as he cursed himself for taking the risk, but at least he made it out in one piece. Now all he needed to do was to find something to defend himself with, that's all that really mattered to him. He didn't want to become this things next meal...If that thing even had one.
