"Yeah well good cause I didn't want to join anyways!" You shouted as you turned your back and stomped away.

You couldn't believe him, he's always so stuck up playing those stupid tricks on you whenever he could. You stomped your way to your best friend knowing he would gladly sit and listen to you rant.

Reaching the door you were extremely familiar with was easy seeing as this was your Valhalla after your arguments. Not bothering to knock you walked in, the dirty blonde glanced up from polishing his hammer, not even a hint of surprise on his face.

"What'd Loki do this time?" He asked as he continued to clean Mjolnir.

"Oh my gods Thor he is just unbelievable! All I wanted to do was to hangout with the warriors three and Sif and he tricked me and told me they were meeting on a different day!" You paced as you spoke, ruffling your hands through your hair.

"I don't know why you still trust the words from his mouth Lady (Y/n), it's obvious he will always be pulling something, it's all he knows." Thor was always very understanding when it came to conflicts between you two. He got into plenty of petty fights with his brother himself so If anyone could understand your struggles it's him.

You took a seat on his bed, letting your head fall into your hands and rub your face tiredly. "I'm just so tired of this Thor. It didn't always used to be like this and I don't know what happened to change that. We were so close when we were young and I miss it."

"Lady (Y/n), my brother has never been good at dealing with his emotions. He has a hard time trusting those around him, sometimes he's like a young boy who shows his affections by being mean. Have you thought about talking to him? He's a trickster, yes, but once he knows he hurts you I'm sure he'll change his mind." He set a reassuring hand on your shoulder as he spoke. Thor really did care about you, he knows how you feel about Loki and it's obvious how Loki feels about you, even if he's really bad at showing it.

"I don't know Thor, I thought that at first when this all started, I tried to just stick it out but it's been so long and I'm so irritated. I'm really starting to be convinced he hates me." You wiped away a few stray tears as you stood up, Thor standing as well.

He pulled you into a hug, his chin rested atop your head. "Think about what I said, I'm serious (Y/n), I care about the both of you."

"Thank you Thor, I think I'm going to retire to my room for a while." You gave him a small smile and opened the door, only to come face to face with Loki himself. He had a surprised look on his face and it looked like he'd been there a while. You paid him no mind, continuing down the hall, your cheeks growing red at the thought of him hearing you.

Closing your door with a sigh you walked to your bed, your thoughts racking your brain. You'd always known how you felt about Loki, he had been your best friend throughout your childhood so you were almost destined to develop a crush on him. It started small but quickly grew into something larger. You guys always played tricks on other people, it was your thing, he was always mean to everybody else yet nice to you, it was something you admired and caused that funny feeling in your chest to grow stronger. One day things just changed. It started small, he would start hiding things from you and distancing himself, and it built up to him playing tricks on you and treating you just like everyone else.

You were pulled out of your thoughts by a knock at the door, assuming it might've just been Thor you didn't hesitate to open it, only to close it instantly when you came face to face with Loki. At least, that's what you would've done had his foot not been in the door blocking its way.
