Coming home from work and seeing your apartment had been not only broken into but completely trashed was definitely not how you planned to spend your evening.

You were a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent so you easily drew your gun and krept into the apartment. Looking around you noticed that nothing had been missing, it just looked like someone had been looking for something.

When you reached the kitchen is when you noticed the thick trail of blood leading from the door back down into the hallway. You followed the trial, gun raised, prepared to take on whoever managed to get into your home.

The bathroom door was cracked, peering through the small gap is where you finally saw the intruder. Crumpled to a heap and unconscious on your bathroom floor. An unopened medkit sat next to him. You sighed when you realized who it was. Of course, just your luck that Loki Odinson, escaped convict of S.H.I.E.L.D had taken refuge in your apartment. He just so happened to be who you had spent all day looking for and had made your work day a living hell.

Opening the door all the way you allowed your eyes to glance over his body. There had to be some type of visible wound to explain all of the blood. Although you couldn't understand why he wouldn't just use his magic to heal himself. You crouched next to him and started poking and prodding his body.

There's no use in calling it in if he's dead before they get here. You touched a spot with your fingers on his upper chest and he let out a groan in his unconscious state. You pulled his upper body towards you and, with a lot of force, removed the leather tunic he wore.

"Who the hell wears leather." You mumbled to yourself as your eyes raked over his chest. There's a large burn covering the entirety of the front of his upper body. "But where's the blood coming from?" Your eyes drifted lower to a deep stab wound on his lower abdomen. The wounds had a slight light blue hue to them.

Shaking your head with a sigh you hoisted one of his arms over your shoulders and proceeded to drag him back down the hallway and to the couch where you could work better. When you picked him up a quiet, "Thor, we are not doing get help." Left his mouth. You gave him a weird look and made a mental note to ask Thor about it once Loki was healed and back in custody. You figured he can't even heal himself right now the chances of him escaping were slim to none.

Grabbing the med kit from the bathroom you sat beside him on the couch, dressing his chest wound and stitching and dressing his stab wound. "You know, for being a god and all you sure are easy to take down. I mean you act all high and mighty but two wounds took you down." You knew he couldn't hear you but it made you feel better and less freaked out by the entire situation.

After cleaning him up and scrubbing the blood off your nice wood floor, you went to take a shower, not only did you have the grime from your workday stuck on your but Loki's blood as well. Turning on the hot water you didn't hesitate to strip your clothes off and climb in, thanking the heavens for the hot water that warmed your body.

While you finished cleaning off all the grime you heard something fall over in the living room. "Goddamn it, he better not be dead or I'm so fired." Putting new clothes on quickly you opened the door and stepped outside. The sight before you was not one you expected.

Before you laid Loki on the floor, clenching his wound as he flared up at you.

"What've you done to me mortal?" He hissed as he drug himself back onto the sofa.

"Uh last I checked, I stopped you from dying." You said with a shrug, moving towards the kitchen. You felt safe turning your back to him knowing he couldn't even stand.

"I didn't need your help." He said with a glare, his eyes never leaving your figure.

"Well it looks to me like you did, seeing as you couldn't even make it to the bathroom before you passed out. I'm surprised you didn't just heal yourself though, what's up with that?" You spoke as you made two bowls of cereal.
