(A/N: this one was requested, I hope you like it :) )

"Ah, I need more alcohol to be able to get over this ceremony. I'm so glad you're here with me, Y/N, you're an amazing friend" Taylor said and downed the rest of her champagne.

She asked you to be her plus one to Austin's wedding. Her, not liking Sophie, her future sister-in-law was an understatement. The girl was needy, bossy and Taylor knew she had ulterior motives. She wanted someone else for her brother, someone who genuinely cares about him, deserves his love and attention and not a gold digger.

You were more than glad to go with her to the wedding. You were flattered she asked you out of all her friends. She could've brought anyone else but she brought you. A tiny smiled formed on your lips at your thought. You may or may not had a crush on her. It wasn't anything serious, expect you wanted to spend the rest of your life with her. But you knew you were just a friend to her, nothing more.

"Come on, Tay! It's not that bad, she's not even here, slow down a little" you giggled and took her fifth glass of champagne away from her and put it on one of the waiters' tray.

"I just don't understand my brother, how is he so blind for God's sake!"

You were about to reply to her when Sophie's sister, Elena interrupted you guys.

"So nice to see you, Tay! Didn't know you had a girlfriend" she fake smiled at your best friend and you couldn't help but blush at the thought of you, being her girlfriend. "How is it with you, girl? Aren't you getting tired from the drama queen herself like all her previous partners did after a few days?" she looked at you this time with a smirk on her face.

"I don't have enough middle fingers to let you know how I feel, Elena" Taylor smiled politely.

"What? I'm just telling the truth! Look at my mom, Taytay. She aged so well. This is what mindig your own business and not being problematic looks like" the brunette pointed at her mom who was talking with Andrea about something.

"Baby girl, that is botox" you stated without thinking.

Taylor let out a loud laugh and you both watched Elena furiously march away.

"That's one of the many reasons I wanted you to tag along" thew blonde girl joked and pulled you into a side hug. "God, this family is so annoying. Come on, after this encounter, I need my well deserved Old Fashioned" she intertwined your fingers and made her way to the bar.

----

"Speak now or forever hold your peace" you heard the preacher say.

You looked at Taylor, afraid that she would do something, she would stand up and say that the girl is not good enough for her brother but she didn't have time to. Someone was faster than her.

"I don't think you should marry him!" a tall, red haired guy stood up. He was one of Sophie's friend. "I know you don't love him, and he does not deserve someone who's not in love with him, he's a nice guy, Soph. Also, you belong with me and I know you know that, too. You told me the other night. So what are you doing up there with him?" he asked.

"Did he just use a line from your song?" you whispered to Taylor who had a proud 'I told you' smile on her face.

Everyone had horrified looks on their faces, even had Sophie.

"I- I don't know what to say" she stuttered. "He's right. I can't marry you because my mom wants to belong to a rich family. I'm so sorry, Austin."

"That't the real tea. I should've brought popcorn" you whispered again.

Austin was speechless. He clearly was shocked but he didn't seem upset, not even the slightest. Sophie gave him back the ring and left without another word.

"Okay everyone, sorry for wasting your time with this ceremony" Austin started and suddenly, you felt extremely sorry for him. "But we should have fun after all, shouldn't we?! There's a lot of drinks and food so please, feel free to enjoy yourselves!" he smiled and went to a private room to change.

----

"Are you okay?" Taylor asked Austin.

You've just finished dinner and the three of you were sitting at the main table talking.

"Yeah, of course. To be honest, I saw it coming. This whole marriage thing was stupid. You were always right about her and I knew that. Plus, I'm still madly in love with Kristen."

"Your ex? I liked her, she was super sweet" you started. "Why don't you try and get back with her?" you asked Austin.

"Why don't you make a move on my sister?" you were taken by surprise. Your heart started to beat at least 5 times faster than it already has. "You should see your face. You see?! That's what I'm talking about. She probably doesn't feel the same way about me."

"You don't know that for sure. She might" Taylor joined to the conversation.

"No chance. We're not you and Y/N" Austin smiled lightly, he could immediately feel the awkwardness of the situation, so he spoke again, "and I'll leave now, I have to talk with other guests, too, plus, this is super uncomfortable" and with that, he was gone.

"So, uhm..." you started, afraid to look at Taylor. "You want another drink?"

"No, no, I'm good, thank you" she smiled.

An awkward silence fell between you two. You had no idea that your feelings were that obvious. You felt ashamed and guilty.

"Oh, my God!" you immediately looked at Taylor who was looking at her phone. "You won't believe that! Oh, my God! That's awesome. Wow!" she laughed.

"What? What is it? What happened?" you asked, clearly confused.

"I made it. I fucking made it! Oh, Lord! Y/N, I love you so much" and she kissed you. Your best friend, your long time crush, Taylor kissed you.

You didn't have much time to process what was happening because she pulled away in a blink of an eye.

"I'm so sorry, I don't know why I did that. I guess it was just on the heat of the moment. I was so happy that Carolina was nominated for the Oscars, I couldn't control my feelings very well. I apologize, Y/N" the singer rambled.

"Wait a minute! Your song, Carolina was nominated for the Oscars? Taylor, that's big! Like, really big!" you giggled.

"I know right?! It's such a big deal and I'm so proud of this song and..." she couldn't finish.

Your lips connected with hers for the second time this evening. It was gentle, slow but very passionate. Taylor giggled a little and pulled away.

"What was that?" she asked, grinning from ear to ear.

"I don't know. Maybe it was just in the heat of the moment" you winked and kissed her cheek.
