Y/N's point of view:
"Come on, you're late! What are you, in character right away? Come on, let's go! She's inside." I heard Taylor yelling from outside.
I parked my car, looked at my children and sighed before getting out of the vehicle.
"What is that?" my boss asked, referring to my clothes. I was wearing a tight black dress with a beautiful high heels. "Did Victoria Beckham have a yard sale? Why wear that?"
"Are you kidding me? This is what you bought for me."
"I know, I know. I'm just saying is it..." she was speechless and completely mesmerized by the dress. "All right, we're stuck with it, I just think it's a little over the top, but..."
"Thanks. Happy to be here to help you" I smiled and rolled my eyes. I can't believe her!
"The first rule of improv is always accept the information. If someone says something, just go with it. No negating" Maggie said excited.
"Gotcha. That sounds good, that's smart" Taylor agreed.
"In my acting class, when someone says 'No' in a scene, the whole class yells, 'Die!'"
"No one will say 'no' then, just don't yell 'die'" Taylor shrugged.
"Who's up for some warm-up exercise?" my daughter smiled.
"No, honey. I'm not gonna do that" I shook my head, already having enough of the day.
"The tip of the tongue, the teeth, the lips. The tip of the tongue, the teeth, the lips. The tip of the tongue, the teeth, the lips" Maggie started. Seriously, I love her but sometimes she's a pain in the ass.
"I got one for you. Shut up!" Taylor yelled. "Okay, let's go already. You ready there, Mafia?" she looked at my son and put her hands on his back.
"Hell, yeah" Mikey said seriously.
Two minutes later we were in J.D. McFunnigan's, standing next to each other with fake smiles on our face. One big happy family, as they say.
"Stinks. Smells like kids' feet and like skidmark underwear" Taylor stated with disgust on her face
"Happy Mother's Day" I giggled and patted her back before seeing Selena standing in front of us.
"Oh, Selena, darling!"
"Hi. Karlie, thank you so much for bringing the kids today" the brunette smiled at me and I cringed when I heard the name.
"I don't think she was the only one who brought them. You know what I'm saying?" Taylor joined our conversation. "I'd like to introduce you to, the one and only, Kiki Dee, who came out at nine pounds four ounces" wait, what? Is Taylor serious right now? "Then the whopper, we call him, Bart, because he was a 12-pounder and did some damage."
"Hi, you guys" Selena crunched down to their level and smiled sweetly at them.
"'ello Selena. Heard so much about you" Maggie said with a fake accent.
"You're British?"
"So you're the bird what's been given Mommy the ol' slap and tickle?" that's gonna be interesting.
Selena had a strange look on her face and I felt the urge to save the situation, also Taylor's ass.
"We sent her to boarding school last year in England. So she picked up a slight accent. It's, you know, very Madonna" I said convincingly and Taylor agreed immediately.
"Well, it's a pleasure meeting you, Kiki Dee" Selena smiled.
"Wish I could say the same. You see, before you, I had meself a mother. I was the apple of her eye. It was all giggling and chasing butterflies in the meadows, and what have you. And now what do I got? An hour and a half every other week at J.D. McFunnigan's with her and her whore" Maggie said and ran away.
