Popo and the other members of the Ninja Seeking Club are visiting the Momochi Clan Village. Before them all was a bright, blue sky and mountains that seemed to go on forever. Tayu had invited them all to Myu’s birthday party. As they arrived at Tayu’s place, she quickly greeted them all. “You must be tired, traveling all the way out here.” Tayu bowed slightly with a gentle smile on her face before she poured out some tea for everyone. “I’ve planned a big party for this evening. Please relax and make yourselves at home until then.” Tayu stated. “I’m sorry there are so many of us to account for.” Enju furrowed her brows. “Oh, no, no. I’m the one who invited everyone. You’re all Myu’s precious friends.” Tayu beamed. “Just knowing she has so many who are willing to make the trip makes me very happy as her mother.” She added on before glancing at Popo and waving at him. Popo was surprised for a few moments before he slowly smiled and waved back. “Moooom… You’re embarrassing me.” Myu’s face turned red as she hid it from everyone. Tayu was elegant and graceful. But… they all already had quite a history with this cheerfully smiling woman. The last time they were there, she put sedatives in their food and locked them up while they were out cold. “Stay on your toes, kid… That woman is malicious at heart…” Dākī-ō told Popo. “Oh don’t you worry… I’m prepared…” Popo murmured his reply as a bead of sweat moved down his face. “This tea smells, like, totally delish!” Hotaru grinned. “I had it delivered from one of the most famous tea shops around.” Tayu responded to Hotaru’s comment. “And these cookies are so sweet and crunchy. I could eat them all day!” Akari giggled happily. “They’re fresh out of the oven. I’m glad you like them.” Tayu nodded her head at Akari. Listening to their conversations, Popo decided to take a sip of his tea. But before he actually did that, he examined the tea. “Looks normal… But how does it taste?” He narrowed his eyes before taking a long sip. His eyes then dilated. “It’s amazing…!” Popo shouted in a hushed voice as he gazed at the tea cup in his hand. “...Well, it seems fine this time.” Popo then stated aloud so that everyone, especially Tayu, could hear him. “Yes. This food doesn’t taste like there’s anything extra mixed in.” Tengge said with her eyes closed. “...I do hope she wouldn’t do anything to ruin her daughter’s birthday party…” Lily frowned. Staying cautious, they all chatted about nothing in particular and shared a few moments of laughter. As they caught up on recent news and happenings, the sun started to set…

They had all had a great time eating dinner at the party and even got to have homemade birthday cake. Myu loved the surprise that they had all prepared for her. Her birthday party came to an end without any problems at all… And that was what worried Popo severely. “Such an anticlimactic end? Nah ah…Tayu’s planning something.” Popo’s eyes began shaking as he looked around. “Ahh, great stuff! There’s just no beating Japanese food! Too bad Kazuki couldn’t be here. Normally I’m the one who gets sick.” Johnny came into the room with a smile on his face. They were all going to stay over at Myu’s house tonight. The girls were all sleeping in one big room, but Johnny and Popo were shown to a different one of course. “Alrighty, Popo. I’m hitting the sack, my guy.” Johnny placed a hand on Popo’s shoulder while using his other to rub his stomach with a satisfied look on his face. Popo nodded at him before Johnny flopped onto his futon face first and hit his head against the pillow on it. Johnny then instantly began snoring. “How the hell is he asleep already…?” Popo furrowed his brows and rubbed the back of his head. “Maybe he’s a competitive sleeper.” Dākī-ō chuckled. “The only thing Johnny could ever be competitive at is getting sick and missing out on huge club trips.” Popo yawned. “I might as well call it a night, too… Or I’ll play some Mario Party Superstars real quick…” Popo stated. However that last part never came to be, as as soon as Popo moved onto his futon and laid his head down on its pillow, he drifted off to sleep in a matter of minutes.
