After The Lies

Chapter 12

"Cohen! How are you?" I never knew I'd meet him very soon. Kahapon lang niya sinabi na baka bumisita siya dito ulit sa Pilipinas! Hindi ako makapaniwalang tinignan siya habang nangingiti.

I met Cohen in Hawaii. He's a friend of the owner of the resort. Palaging bumubisita sa resort na nakakapagtaka sa una pero kalaunan ay nakita ko rin ang intensyon niya- ang maging girlfriend ako. Pero ang akala niya ay madali lang ako dahil mahiyain ay subrang mali dahil kahit hindi niya ako tantanan hindi ko talaga siya sinagot, hanggang sa napagtanto niyang mukhang may gusto akong iba kaya kinausap niya ako at tinanong ng marami.And that started our friendship. He's flirty, silly, and you wouldn't know what's on his mind. And it's threatening.

"I'm fine, Mila." ngumuso ako at inilingan siya. Kumunot ang noo niya at pinakatitigan ako dahil nagtataka sa akin.

"You can't call me that now, Cohen. Klaus is calling me that now." He seems pissed now. Napabuntong hininga ako.

Klaus had started referring to me as Mila recently. That's when it happened. Asked why he was calling me that, he said it was the first time he'd heard anyone refer to me by that name. As an outcome, he's now referring to me as Mila.

"So it's really true? He's courting you?"

"Oo. Nagkaaminan kami." I blushed.

"Do you really think he liked you back then? Or only now because you confessed?"  Napanguso ako. Way too fast to break my confidence, Cohen! This jerk.

I don't really trust anyone but myself. Either he liked me before or now it's fine. As long as he likes me now. And if he lied...I don't know. Sh*t. Umupo ako ng maayos at sumimsim ng coffee.

I heard Cohen yawn as if he was bored. Napairap ako sakanya.

"Well, let's see. Let's do something that could make a person get jealous." He looked so delighted that it made my heart beat so loud and fast! What is this silly person going to do now?

"What I'm going to do is going to blow your mind." said Klaus, while smirking at me. I think he want to have dinner with me again in their house. Ngumiwi ako dahil kinakabahan. He had a plan for us tonight, but Cohen, that jerk!

"I am meeting someone tonight. Kakabalik lang ng kaibigan ko galing Hawaii and he want us to party all night."

Nahinto si Klaus sa pagtitipa sa kanyang laptop at masama akong tinignan."He?"

"Oo." nakagat ko ang labi ko. Kinakabahan talaga ako sa planong ito ni Cohen. But I wonder if Klaus will get jealous. 

Bumuntong hininga ito at tumayo sa pagkakaupo. He sat down beside me. I watched how his left hand moved and slightly touched my right lap. My eyes surveyed his outfit. His biceps can't be hidden even when he tries. I bit my lower lip and focused on his face. He grunted before his lips kissed my shoulder.

"Can't I go?" He said this while his appealing breath was hitting my shoulder. I moaned and pushed him using my right hand.
