After The Lies

Chapter 14

I stared at my reflection in the mirror in front of me. For so many years now, I've been a good friend to myself, and for the first time I saw myself truly happy. I've never been this happy. It was like everything was perfect for the first time.

I never knew I could be happier. But I know I could be this happy with him. I knew that when I accepted. I love him. I really do love him. As my life went on, he was always there. I might not see him near me, but he's always in my mind, running free, living free, and making me so happy.

"Love," ngumuso ako at hinarap si Klaus na nasa hamba ng pintuan at pinapanood ako habang inaayos ko ang sarili ko bago lumabas at magsimula sa trabaho ko.

"Let's eat first." I went to him and he immediately ran his fingers to my waist and pulled me closer.

What I learned from being his girlfriend is that Klaus' love language is physical touch. Even when there are people near us, he can't keep his hands to himself. And it was like he was afraid I'd run away or he was afraid he'd lose me. Well, it's up to him. It's all up to him if I ever run away from him.

Tumango ako kay Klaus at nauna ng lumabas sa opisina niya. We were greeted by the workers after they say us. Walang palya ang pag tingin nila sa amin. It's kinda awkward because they're staring at us nonstop. Hindi parin ako nasasanay. But well, I guess we just looked so good together. Uminit ang batok ko sa pinag-iisip ko.

Naupo naman agad kami ni Klaus at may inilagay agad sa lamesa namin.

"Marami kang customers ngayon." Sabi ko habang kumakain kami. Napansin kung kahit kakabukas palang ng restaurant ay marami na agad nagsipasukan kahit maaga pa.

"Yeah, there are multiple schools nearby that have recognition and graduation." napatango-tango ako. Tama nakalimutan ko na may banda pala mamaya dahil para roon. Gosh, nagka boyfriend lang ako ay nagiging makakalimutin na ako. What the...

"Later there will be more customers as we expected. We'll be very busy later, love." I guess so.

I watched Klaus moved to sit by my side and put my favorites on my plate. Napangisi ako. Bakit pa siya umuupo sa harap ko kung hindi niya naman natitiis na malayo sakin. Napailing-iling ako. I tried the food on my plate when I felt him touch my thighs. Napayuko ako para tignan ang kamay niyang nakapatong sa hita ko. I looked at him and he smirked at me before he tasted his food.

This man, how am I going to eat properly when he's being this touchy?! Puwede ba to sa hapag kainan?! Gosh! I tried to savor the food, but his fingers were now playing at the hem of my dress. Nakagat ko ang labi ko hinawakan ang kamay niya na nasa hita ko naglalaro.

"Stop it, Klaus." Pagalit kung sita sakanya he playfully smiled at me before taking his hands away from my thighs.

"I bet he'll take you so soon!" dinuro ako ni Harold habang tumatawa siya. He's drunk!

"What the fuck, Harold?!" I need to stop this gay!

"What?! Marupok ka at siya naman magaling kang pakiligin. Hindi na ako magtataka at hindi kayo aabot ng ilang buwan bago kayo mag anuhan."
