After opening the trailer door, Eddie immediately heads to the restroom, leaving the other two to bicker about what movie to throw on. Normally, he joins the argument to try to get a horror to be put on, but he's not in the headspace for it at the moment. He just needs a minute to readjust.

Closing the bathroom door behind him, Eddie takes a deep breath in before quickly releasing it. He goes to the sink and throws some water on his face, trying to cool the burn a bit. He looks at himself in the mirror and, yup, he looks as confused as he feels.

What is he up to? What is Steve up to? Is this some sort of bet with Robin? Is he trying to get some free weed? He shakes his head, his curls bouncing. No, Steve wouldn't do that. Sure, he's already getting some free weed! So why then? And, why all of a sudden? They've been having these movie nights for weeks and this has never happened. Sure, once Steve accidentally rubbed his ass when he needed to move past him to get into the kitchen, and yeah, when Eddie starts to fall asleep during the movie, he nearly always feels Steve's slender fingers entangle in his hair to rub soothing circles into his scalp. Even tugging on his curly locks a few times, almost causing Eddie to moan embarrassingly, but that doesn't mean anything, right? I mean, even Robin said he was shit out of luck and that Steve is definitely straight!

But then, why the ear biting? Why everything!? Eddie feels like his head is about to explode just as there's a knock on the bathroom door.

"Just a second!"

"Dude, we've been here 20 minutes and we're still painfully sober." Steve laughs, "so stop having a wank and come out and be a good host!".

Eddie's face burns. Fuck, so much for cooling it down. He sighs and turns off the tap, takes another deep breath to brace himself for more weirdness and leaves the bathroom.

"Fuck you, I wasn't masturbating." He playfully nudges Steve.

Steve laughs, following back out to where Robin is sitting impatiently on the couch.

"Could've fooled me." He throws himself onto the middle of the couch, stretching his legs out onto the coffee table. The movie that was picked was 'The Goonies'. Even though it's his movie selection, he's never actually seen The Goonies so he's actually happy it got picked. He sits down on the couch, not too close to Steve because otherwise he wouldn't be able to hear himself think. He takes out 2 joints, passing one straight to Steve. They're kept busy for a minute whilst they get them lighting. Steve and Robin share a joint, still not a seasoned smoker like Eddie, who has a full one to himself. When they're done, they are all starting to feel the fuzzy effects of their high taken over just as the goonie kids are sneaky under the fireplace to escape from the 3 villains. Eddie is glued to the screen, but his body is definitely still completely aware of Steve's presence. The younger boy shifts slightly, falling closer to Eddie. He sees from his peripheral that Steve is reaching across the couch to grab one of the blankets Eddie haphazardly folds over the couch in case any of them get cold or fall asleep during their high. Robin has already made herself comfy with one, the blanket reaching up to her chin as her red rimmed eyes try their best to stay on the tv to see if the goonies will escape the cave that's falling apart, but she's fighting a losing battle.

Steve fans the blanket over himself and Eddie, shuffling even closer to the latter. Their arms and thighs are now touching and Eddie has to clear his throat to get his mind out of the gutter. They watch more of the movie, both laughing at how weird it is that Andy kisses Mikey and doesn't even realise it. The movie reminds him of his adventures with his own goonies not so long ago. The thought brings a small smile to his face as he relaxes more into the coucy. About 45 minutes into the film, soft snores can be heard in the trailer. Furrowing his eyebrows, Eddie turns to see Robin curled into a tiny ball, her mouth open and drooling slightly as she seems to be in an already deep sleep. Him and Steve look at each other before back at Robin, giggling at the state of their best friend.
