I'm thankful that I had to go through all the pains, the fears. It made me realize that I had to let go of my guard and be vulnerable. I had to be weak so I can use every bit of it as my strength. And it's okay to know your weaknesses so you can find a way to move it around.
It's been a year since Dre passed. It was a tough emotion to deal with but he helped me process it. He was with me even when he's gone. I visited the places he wanted to visit and left a bracelet that he made with the kids in each place. Hopefully, Dre can brighten someone's day through that bracelet.
I was back to that corner of the street again, where all of this started, waiting for the signal to change. I took a deep breath, and started walking. I never felt this way before. It's been a while to breathe the fresh air of hope.
Thank you, Dre.
Dear Liv,
You made it through and I'm so happy for you.
Going back that fateful day, you almost lost it
but the universe had a different plan for you.
It wasn't easy but you were able to bring yourself back together.
You allowed yourself to be found.
Continue being the beacon of hope.
SMILE as the world smiles with you.
Thank you. Thank you for sticking around.
I want you to know that you're an amazing person.
You are capable of doing wonderful things.
You can dream big, and make it happen.
You are enough, more than enough.
You are loved because I LOVE YOU and you deserve it.
Tight hugs,
Yourself, Liv.
