{Gray's POV}
Happy Birthday, Hiro Mashima!

Raining. It's raining again. Been awhile.
Sorry, guys. But I had to do it. I will find Natsu so that the Circle of Eight would be whole again. So we could be happy again.
I propped on a shady tree of a forest and decided to rest there. The rain had stopped. I felt sadness with that rain. It was like something bad happened. Nah, it's just a feeling, anyways.
I settled down my bag and grabbed some apples that I got from the refrigerator. I ate, zoning out. It's been two weeks. Two weeks since I had left them. My stock of food and water is about to run out.
I don't know on what part of Japan I was already. I think I'm lost. I haven't brought a map with me. But it wasn’t like I knew how to read maps....
Just as I was pondering on how I can get out of this large forest full of trees, a picture of a certain girl with wavy blue hair appeared in my mind. Juvia. I wonder. How is she right now?
I smiled bitterly to myself. Have I made the right decision? Have I made everyone sad just because I left? Of course, Gray you idiot. You left them. Do you think they're happy right now? Of course not! Imagine Juvia. You know she's bawling out her eyes now.
I heard a rustle behind me and I jumped, readying myself on a fighting position. I gasped when I saw who it was.
"Jellal? Gajeel? Why are you two here? How did you find me?"
"Why did you leave us?" Was Jellal and Gajeel's response. I looked down, unable to answer their question. "Well?"
"I will find Natsu. I will bring him back here so I left on a journey."
They remained silent. I took a deep breath and continued. "I don't want our friendship to be broken. I thought that if I find Natsu, the circle of eight will be whole once again. If he's back, all will be happy—"
"You think we're happy right now that you also left? You think that now you're gone as well, we should celebrate?" That statement of Jellal made me shut up. He was looking so angry. It was the first time I saw him lose his cool.
Gajeel put on a poker face, "We're not gonna be happy, Gray. We understand Natsu's reason for leaving—it's a valid reason. Yours is not! You know that he'll come back, we'd just have to wait for him, but you left! Six were left. Juvia is crying hard." This was the first time that Gajeel spoke this long. What he said was frightening. Juvia is in pain. Because of me. Not just Juvia. The girls are, too.
"But I can't wait for that long..." I told them breathlessly.
"But you have to. You know Natsu. He never breaks his promise." Jellal was now back to his calm state.
Gajeel shook his head before speaking up, "Okay. We'll go find him." Jellal and I had wide eyes, just like a disc. My eyes were exclaiming the word 'really'.
"Now, let's go and find him." He spoke up. I know Jellal was against Gajeel's orders but still though, he went along with us.

"Are you fourteen year olds sure that you can find your friend? I mean, look. The world is big. So big that it will take you a decade before travelling the world completely." The fisherman who we just asked if we can have a free ride asked. It was like what we were trying to do was the most ridiculous and impossible thing in the world. It was veracious, to tell you the truth.
"No, old geezer. No matter how impossible it is to find our friend, we will never lose hope. That I am certain." I said with determination.
The fisherman nodded and sailed to the place named Canada. So far, we've traveled a hundred of miles from Japan. It was like a miracle, but believe me, we survived two-years long. People were kind enough to give us food and drinks.
If you're wondering where we are right now, we're at the continent named South America. I know it will take us a week maybe, because we're just using a little boat, but I don't care. As long as we remain hopeful, we can be there in no time.
Five days have passed and we were still sailing around. We have enough food and drink for the time being.
We were eating silently when we heard a helicopter above us.
"Hey, young fisherman with three teenagers, come with us. Are you travelers?" A man with a deep voice asked. His voice seemed familiar. Where have I heard it, though?
"Sir, we're not travelers! We're just gonna find our friend!" Jellal shouted, hoping that the man still heard what he said even when the helicopter was too noisy.
Fortunately though, he heard it. "You poor little teens. Come with us. We shall take care of you three. Fisherman, come with us as well."
The helicopter brought down a ladder made of rope. I looked reluctantly at my friends and they glanced back as well. I sighed and started to climb up, my friends and the fisherman following close behind us.
Landing finally, I heard Gajeel yawn. He must be tired just like us.
"Kiddos, do you wanna rest or eat?" Mr. Deep Voice asked. My stomach growled as a sign that I wanted to eat. Jellal and Gajeel yawned which means they wanted to rest.
Mr. Deep Voice chuckled, "I get it. Now follow me."
We entered on what I assume is a limousine. Wow. This man sure is rich. And his facial expressions.... he reminded me of someone I know. I couldn’t decipher on who it is, though. Maybe it’s just my imagination.
Hoping that we could get there soon, I took a nap. Maybe it's not that bad to rest.
We ate when we arrived. Their house was big like a mansion which made Jellal and Gajeel completely lose their sleepiness.
Having a typical conversation, we heard someone knock on the front door. The maid went to get it.
"Hi, dad. How are you—"
I dropped my spoon and fork. An eery silence appeared.
"Natsu?"
