Ch. 8: Jellal and Erza

{Natsu's POV}

Timeskip: After 4 years

"You mean, our fans are creating a war against the fans of Color of Girls?"

"Yes." I facepalmed at what Gajeel told us.

"Boys." I looked over to Zeref, our manager, who was carrying a tray of huge burgers. "Rest for awhile. Just continue the music video later."

Jellal and Gajeel sat down on the couch and got a burger.

Oh, before anything. I'm Natsu Dragneel, the vocalist of the popular band, Elemental Boys. It's been four years since we became this popular. And even though it's been a year, I haven't forgotten about Lucy and the other girls.

Don't get me wrong, even though I think Lucy and the other girls have forgotten our past friendship, I still consider them my bestfriends. Heck, in my imagination, the Circle of Eight is still complete. That's how I love my friends.

My train of thoughts were interrupted when Gray gasped. His face looked absolutely horrified. He was looking towards Jellal's direction. I glanced at that direction as well, only to find out that he was watching a Color of Girls music video on youtube while holding a picture of Erza.

Well, that's cool. Wait—what?! I did a double take at Jellal. I gasped, covering my mouth. "I can't believe you're a fan of Color of Girls and you're in love with Erza!" I commented, my voice only above a whisper. I bet my face is just like Gray's.

Gajeel was on the opposite corner of our practice room. He was chugging down an orange juice, and seems to not care about our business. I know he already saw what Jellal was doing, but he acted like it was just a normal thing.

"You're taking it the wrong way." Jellal explained, his chill aura all over the room. He, too, was acting like it was a normal thing. "Look, is it bad to miss someone's bestfriend and watch a music video?" He inquired, looking exasperated.

"No, it just... caught us off guard. That's all." Gray seemed not sure about his answer. Jellal nodded, and so he turned around and chatted with Gajeel, leaving me alone with Jellal, still in a state of shock.

"Wanna watch with me?" Jellal offered, patting a space on the couch beside him for me to sit on. I shook my head, regaining my sense back.

"Dude, I never thought that you loved Erza." I joked, laughing out loud. He remained silent for a moment, not daring to let go of even a single word. I immediately turned into my serious mode, because Jellal might smack my head.

"I liked Erza back then." My eyes widened at the statement. "But it was a long time ago, so there's nothing to worry about. Besides, I don't even know if she liked me too back then. I guess not." I... was just trying to make a joke earlier so I can piss him off and lighten up the mood, but I never expected him to confess just like that in front of me.

"So it was a story of an unrequited love?" I asked, not noticing that I just said a thing that might make Jellal totally angry and flustered. I felt Gajeel and Gray glance on our direction. Gray squinted his eyes at us.

A moment later, I noticed that Gray was standing beside me and Gajeel as well. "Unrequited love? What's this about, huh?" Gray asked curiously. Gajeel crossed his arms, smirking, asking an explanation from Jellal. No one answered.

We continued staring at Jellal until finally, he paused a music video of Color of Girls. "What?" He asked, but I know that he knows we need an explanation from him. We gave him a knowing smile. He sighed defeatedly.

"Alright. So back then in the rain, I saw Erza, sobbing. I thought that she was beautiful and liked her. It was just for awhile. I don't know if she liked me back. The end." I hate to break it to him, but I think Erza's not the kind to like a boy. I shook my head at the thought.

"Anyways, I'm going to the bathroom." He said, not taking the silence anymore. I just chuckled along with Gajeel and Gray, going back to resting and eating our sandwiches.

When he got out of the comfort room, he opened the door of the practice room.

"Where're you going?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow at him. He told me it was none of my damn business, so I laughed. Is he pissed off or something? Oh well, maybe after he return later, he'll be chilled up again.

After half an hour of resting and eating, we decided to resume our practice for our new music video. We positioned ourselves onto the microphone and instruments. I glanced from behind me and was about to count one, two, three when I noticed that the drumset was empty.

"Where's Jellal?" Gray asked, eyebrows furrowed.

I shrugged, "You took the words out of my mouth."

"Let's find him." Gajeel said, impatience written all over his face. I could tell he was already exhausted. I turned around to check Zeref so I can ask him where Jellal is, but then noticed he wasn't around. Maybe in the living room.

I saw him in the living room chatting with someone over the phone. I shook my head and looked all over for Jellal on the house.

"Not in the garden." I told myself exasperatedly. "Where could he be?"

"Not in the bathroom downstairs, his bedroom, or on the garage." Gajeel huffed.

"Not in the kitchen and the living room." Gray rolled his eyes, annoyed as he wiped a sweat from his face.

"Outside the house." I answered, running out the gate.

"Not in the café. Not in the parking lot. Not in the pet shop. Not in a fastfood chain. Oh, Jellal! Where could you be?!" I almost punched a wall.

I turned to my right only to see an alleyway. Right. It's impossible that he could be here. There's nothing wrong in checking it out anyway.

As I got further on the alley, it got darker and darker. I cursed when I almost tripped on a stone I didn't notice on my way. I continued carefully, only to hear a familiar voice of a male and a woman talking to each other. I brought out my phone and lightened up my way.

What the. "Jellal? Erza?"
