HURT

Its a pain that leaves a scar
A scar that takes forever to heal
An ailment applied to it wont chill it
Flashbacks of the scar cut it deeper

The world is full of hurtful words
Hurtful people that make hurtful memories
Hurtful memories that drain you
That awakens the scar that hurts you

Ive been hurt several times
Ive wrapped bandage and done first aid
Ive taken medication seriously to heal
But theres a scar that my doctor can't fix
