A Choice- Darren & Ryan pt.3 (Drama)

Recap: Ryan told Oliver about the situation and is planning on telling Darren as soon as possible. Y/N went home and told her best friend Ashley about what happened and what she's been thinking. Now Y/N has to figure out what it is that she wants and then go talk to Darren.

~Time Skip~
Ryan P.O.V

It's the nest morning and I lay awake in my bed with a million thoughts running through it. I couldn't get any sleep. I was too busy trying to mentally prepare myself for this conversational with Darren. I decided to just rip the band-aid off and tell him right away. I grab my phone to check the time and see that it is almost 8:00 am. I deeply sigh and get up out of bed "he should be up now" I say under my breath to myself. I wall out of my room and towards Darren's. When I get to Darren's door it is slightly open and I can see him laying on his bed on his phone. I knock to let him know I'm there. He turns around to see me and I see some kind of pained expression flash across his face but just as fast as it came it was gone and he was back to staring at me blankly "" What's up?" He asks. I hesitate for a second and gulp "I need to talk to you about something" I finally got out. He waved me to come in and I sat down next to him on his bed.

"So what do you want to talk about?" He asked me plainly. I let out a shaky breath "Something happened last night" I start. "What happened?" He asked almost nonchalantly. I was confused on why he was acting like this but I went on "it's about Y/N" I stated and he looked at me seriously. "What about Y/N? If something happened to her I would know about it. So what are you talking about?" He says looking straight into my eyes. I gulp one more time and tell h I'm everything fast in one breath "ikissedY/NI'msosorryidon'tknowwhatgotintomebutineededtotellyou" I said everything and took a deep breath in to reinflate my lungs. Darren was just looking down with a saddened and hurt expression.

"Darren I'm so so SO sorry. I don't know what I was thinking." I say but Darren doesn't say anything "Please say something" I try again but he just looks up at me with rage in his eyes. "I know" is all I hear from him and I am beyond shocked. "Wait what? How?" I ask in utter confusion. "I was there" he says in cold tone.

*Flashback*
~Darren's P.O.V~

I open my eyes to see an empty bed. Y/N must have woken up already. I check the time and get up to go look for her. I start at the kitchen because she's getting water or something. I walk down the stairs and I hear voices. I hear Y/N's voice and another. It sounds like Ryan. I didn't think much of it because they're close friends. I have the idea to try and scare them so I hide behind the wall before you get to the kitchen and try to sneak up on them. But when I turn my head to look at them I see that Y/N has something in her eye and Ryan goes to help her get it out. Not going to lie that whole interaction made me feel a little weird. Then after Ryan blew in her eye and got it out they started staring at each other. My heart started beating the hardest it ever has. I was so scared because I was praying that what I think is about to happen doesn't happen.

Then Ryan leans in and kisses Y/N.My jaw drops to the floor and my heart starts to break. But just then Y/N pushes him away and excuses herself and runs out of the door. That's made me happy to know that she wouldn't do that to me but Ryan was another story. After that whole scenario I decided to go back to my room. I knew that Y/N would talk to me when she was ready and I would talk to Ryan tomorrow.

*End of Flashback*

My heart beat quickened. He knew? Was he going to say something? Was he going to pretend that it didn't happen. I think Darren knowing this whole time and him not saying anything makes me the most confused and scared. "Why didn't you say anything?" I ask pulling myself out of my own thoughts. "I knew that it would be better to talk when I was calm" he said attempting to soften his face and I looked down, not being able to look him in the eyes. We sat there in silence for a couple of seconds. "Why?" I heard from Darren who broke the silence. I look up to see him on the verge of tears. "Why would you do that to me?" He said trying not to let his voice waver "I mean I know that I can be annoying and I mess with you a lot but" he paused and looked away as if to not let me see his tears.
