We all drunkenly danced in a group just the five of us, Spinning around from one to the other. Then the music began to slow down and everyone started to couple up. As I turned and started to step out of the square someone grabbed my arm. I looked up to meet the face the hand belonged to and I found Nik.
I looked at him in slight confusion, a slight drunken blush dotted his cheeks and the flames and moonlight cast shadows across his chisled face.
"Would you like to dance?" He asked amused. I nodded slowly and turn to follow him to the middle of the square.
I put my hand on his shoulder as he placed his hand on my waist. we softly tangled our fingers, we spun me all across the square as he guided my steps. His stormy eyes met mine and the music and conversations around me grew muffled and faded away. but I knew we hadn't stopped dancing, not because my feet were still moving. But it didn't just feel like we stopped spinning, it felt like the world had stopped spinning. Nik leaned down and in that moment I thought he was going to kiss me but he
stopped at my ear.
"The music has stopped love, People are staring." He chuckled. He pulls his head back up and there on his face was a sly smile, a happy smile even. I lightly giggle as I looked around at the giggling groups of girls and Rebecka making kissy faces at me.
I tiptoed barely reaching nik's ear
"We can stop if you want to." I I lightly whispered allowing my lips to gently brush his ear.
What am I doing, snap out of it bonnie. Its the wine god I hope its the wine.
"Never." He said back. So we swayed on the dance floor slow dancing till Rebekah called us for seconds . Nik and I sat beside each other while we all joked around, drank and ate.
"I hunted this boar myself" Cole drunkenly spouted out trying to impress me.
"It is quie a big boar" i said as we all let out gusts of laughter.
The fires began to burn away as I snuggled closer to nik for warmth
"You to are so amazing together!" Rebekah sang. The girl sitting beside her nodded in agreement. I choked on the the wine I had been sipping on some of it falling onto my dress. Nik looked at me with a smirk on his face.
"We aren't a couple!" say as I let out a mixture of laughter and gasps of air.
"Yet!" Nik's smug face said.
