Chapter 12 A shooting star

As the night burned away and the torches were fading people began to make their way to their respective homes.

As I traced my fingers along the details of my necklace i felt something rush through me and the breeze picked up. It felt like last time but now it was more controlled,less painful and more pleasurable. I looked around and saw nik dancing with his siblings and Rebecca giggling with her friends Elijah and finn were absent

I slowly got up and made my way to the clearing g where I arrived.

The flowers

Looked almost florescent in the watery moonlight,a gentle breeze blew through the tall grass and the freshness of the air hit me, I never took time to appreciate it compared to the air im used to breathing it was so light and floral.

Once I got past the trees into the clearing I looked up and saw a beam of light fly by, a shooting star.

"What did you wish Mrs Bennett?"a husker voice came up from where a manly silhouette lay in the grass.

"Elijah!" I said I slight shock hopping he didn't see what I was doing earlier with my magic.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you"

"Don't apologise! You've done nothing wrong. Why did you leave the party?"

"I could ask you the same thing miss Bennett "he stated while lightly chuckling.

"Call me bonnie please we are living together after all"

A moment of silence passed then he spoke out.

"Bonnie"he paused

"parties are not my preferred setting"

"Mine nether I prefer calmness it grounds medical stated as I gently placed my self in the patch of grass beside him.

"You asked me what I wished for" I quietly said

Elijah turned to me leaning on his arm and staring into my eyes placing his all his attention onto me.

My eyes scanned his face. He looked absolutely divine his long black hair fell out of the organised style he had that morning framing his face, his dark features looking evermore predominant as the trees cast shadows on his face.

"What did you wish for" he asked again snapping me out of my daze.

I had loads to wish for for gran to come back, for me to find my way back home, for my friends to be safe, but none of those mattered in that moment I wish they did but I needed to be selfish for once, I'm constant giving and never receiving .

"I want every day to be like this, full of love, laughter, and beauty"

"That is a beautiful wish" he says while maintaining eye contact and leaning in closer.

"I shouldn't-"

"I know" he says lightly

"But I need to"i say hastily while pulling him in, letting his warm lips melt onto mine, his eyes were at first wide with shock but soon they shut and he let out a groan of pleasure sending vibrations down my spine.

I deserve happiness. God knows I do, and for once I'm gonna take it.

"Bonnie" I heard a voice yelling out in shock.
