"Girlfriend?" Wanda asked, hiding the tone of surprise from her voice.
"Billy," you called out, as you reached for him. "You must be hungry already, imagining things. Why don't you go eat your breakfast, huh?"
"Okay, Mom," Billy only grumbled. Then he hugged Wanda's knees, surprising the brunette more, as he smiled up at her. "It's nice to finally meet you."
When Billy ran to the dining table, Wanda was sporting a very confused expression. Her green eyes full of questions as she turned to look at you.
"I didn't know you were married," Wanda commented.
You gave a nervous chuckle, avoiding her gaze. "I am not."
"But, clearly, you didn't even have the guts to bring up you have a son," she went on, crossing her arms against her chest.
"Are you mad?" you asked, attempting to glance her way.
"At Billy? No, he's very adorable and he looks so familiar and very like you," Wanda replied, then her softened voice turning stern. "I just didn't know you would hide him like a secret, Y/n. Sorry, I guess it was just way easier when I could just hear your thoughts... and why are you telling this kid I'm your girlfriend?"
"I didn't... I didn't even know-"
Billy suddenly cut you off, his mouth full of food. "You didn't. Aunt Nat told me."
"Natasha?" Wanda asked.
And you tried to change the topic by telling Billy not to meddle into adults' conversations, especially talking when mouth's full.
The moment Wanda asked, Natasha and the others walked back into the room.
You didn't even know if you should tell Wanda the truth, but when you met Stephen's gaze as he shook his head, knowing what you're thinking, you decided not to.
"Yeah, it was just a joke, clearly," Natasha interrupted, appearing to have heard the boy.
As you gave a glance towards the widow, she was giving you a softened look, a look of understanding since she now knew everything about you, the multiverse and Wanda.
Stephen summoned you after that to discuss about your mission, to which you were grateful for having to avoid Wanda's follow up questions.
Natasha went to eat breakfast with Billy, who seemed unfazed by the whole thing.
Stepping into the portal Stephen created, you immediately recognized the familiar temples of Kamar-Taj.
Upon your arrival, your eyes seemed to deceive you when you saw two Wongs approaching. One was injured, the other was not.
You then found out that Wanda has now taken a town hostage just to demand for the boy she needed to travel. Her own son, that she didn't know yet. And if that wasn't enough, she'd sacrifice the entire universe. Just for you.
They must have discussed the plan with you for hours. Go to Universe 489. Convince Wanda to let the innocents go. If it doesn't work, that's where you come in and convince her yourself.
For sure, she'd soften at the sight of you.
The injured Wong warned you to be careful since this was not Wanda we were dealing with but the Scarlet Witch. You used to hear about the myths of said witch, not expecting Wanda to turn into one.
Billy would be left alone in your universe for the time being. And when everything would be okay, you'd reveal to Wanda 489 that he's her son.
When things would go the other way, and neither of you came back within a week, the other Wong from your universe would be traveling with America to come and get you back.
