Reluctantly, I opened my eyes and was immediately blinded by the bright lights of who knows what. I could vaguely hear Laito, Ayato, and some of the other Sakamaki's talking near me, but they didn't seem to notice me suddenly being awake and attempting to get up.

"If you try to remove yourself from this couch then I will have to forcefully keep you there." Reiji growled as he suddenly appeared standing next to me and pressed my shoulder back into the couch I'm currently lying on in the living room.

I jinxed it...

I quickly yelped as the pain from the pressure on my shoulder radiated from where his hand is all the way down my arm to my hand. My whole body was aching and it was almost impossible for me to actually move on my own. Why do all my muscles hurt so bad?

Ooooh wait...

"How could I had been so stupid?" I sighed as Reiji removed his hand from my shoulder and sat down next to my head on the couch.

"Are you reffering to how you challenged Ruki and insulted Carla?" He asked with hint of amusement in his voice.

"Yeah... Why didn't you stop me?" I asked while I glanced up at him and also to Shu who's lying down on the chair across from the couch.

"I was curious to see what you would do and so I decided to let you do as you wanted during that time." Reiji answered while Shu just smirked with his eyes still closed.

"Seeing such a lewd woman getting beat up by a fake vampire was something I couldn't miss." Shu chuckled as the remaining brothers entered the living room.

I didn't say anything to them as I felt myself suddenly becoming tired again. Taking one last glance towards Reiji, I actually noticed that it looked as though he had a small bruise forming under his chin and also on his wrists. Before I could so much as utter a single question on what had happened after Shu carried me out of the classroom, I had already slipped back into unconsciousness.

No dreams came to me and so I was left floating in nothing more than a dark void. It was sort of relaxing and I didn't have to worry about my body screaming in agony as I randomly moved around in this dark abyss. Now if only dreams would last forever, then I wouldn't have to wake up and feel all the pain of my new bruises.

As if right on cue, I awoke moments later due to the pain I suddenly felt rip through my stomach.

I need to stop jinxing things...

Small whimpers escaped my lips as the weight and pain that rested on my stomach began to increase. But I soon noticed that the skin there was becoming increasingly cold. Peeking one of my eyes open just a slit, I quickly saw that I was lying on a bed in I think Reiji's room.

"Hm, so you've finally woken up?" I heard Reiji's smooth voice from my right.

Yup his room.

Turning my head slightly, I soon noticed that I was actually in his bed and he was standing over me in front of a chair that's been placed right next to the side of the bed. He had just placed an ice pack on my exposed stomach and I noticed fresh bandages on my legs and arms.

"Normally I would scold you for being so rude to another vampire, but just this once, I'll let it slide since Carla was honestly acting like some spoiled brat and Ruki is just an eye sore that doesn't deserve even a lowly humans respect." The black haired vampire said to me as he sat back down in the chair and crossed one leg over the other.

"Thank you, Reiji." I said with a hint of pain laced through my words as I watched his ruby eyes narrow.

"I didn't do it for you you conceited girl." He sighed. "If you die, then my brothers and I won't have any more free blood and so it's just easier to keep you alive."
