~Your P. O. V.~
It's been a little over a week since I had gotten into that fight with Ruki, had myself patched up by Reiji, and passed out in Shu's room. My bruises have been healing a considerable amount and I can now walk around and even run a bit with little to no pain. Though my stomach does still hurt a bit more than the rest of my body considering that's where I got punched and kicked mercilessly by that black haired Mukami...
Who knew that guy could throw a decent punch...
But some good things have come out of me getting beat the living hell out of by Ruki- like how I've gotten a bit closer with all the Sakamaki's. Laito and I have been playing darts a lot now and Kanato and I usually eat some sweets together even though he hates when I steal "his" sweets. Ayato and myself have this little friendly rivalry going on between us both and now we have a full on prank war going on at the expense of all of the Sakamaki's within this household. Subaru's usually quiet around me, but lately we've managed to have conversations with each other and not fail miserably at it. Shu and Reiji, unsurprisingly, have practically claimed me as their own and so nothing between them two and myself has really changed over the time I've been confined to their mansion other than that I've gotten more used to being around them both.
All in all, I'm starting to feel as though I belong here and that all the vampires are beginning to accept me as one of their family.
The triplets no longer freak me out and Subaru is actually talking to me which is a plus. After I had told Ruki that I would rather watch over all these brothers than go and live with him, the Sakamaki's have been trying to get closer to me nonstop. I asked Laito about it and he's convinced it's because Yui, the girl before me, wanted nothing more than to escape and only ever got close to them when she thought she would have a shot at making her escape plans a reality.
That's how she died.
The poor girl ran out of the house when she thought no one would notice her dissapearence only to find herself running into a trap planned and forged by the Mukami's who wanted nothing more than to kill the girl who chose the Sakamaki's over themselves. That's the main reason behind me staying home lately, because those half-bloods are most likely going to come after me next which isn't something the Sakamaki's are particularly fond of.
A small laugh escaped my lips as I walked around this large mansion with no destination in sight. All the Sakamaki's went out to school about an hour or two ago, leaving me home alone and completely bored. Reiji isn't allowing me to return to school until I'm completely healed which is a very good thing considering I'm most likely going to get into another fight with the Mukami's or even the Tsukinami's if they decide to approach me.
I get to deal with all these annoying vampires for the rest of my life, yay...
I've been exploring the mansion every chance I get since the Sakamaki's prefer me to stay with one of them when they're home. I never would have guessed just how many rooms are in this place so I'm rather happy that I got beat up by Ruki because I can now fully look around this place.
With a slight skip in my step, I turned the corner of a new hallway only to find another long set of doors. I've already managed to find a pool in here along with a music room, laboratory, three different kitchens, about eight bathrooms, two rooms filled with stuffed animals, and some other completely random rooms that I actually took note of. This place seriously has so many rooms that I could probably hide in one of these and never be found by any of the vampires. Then again, they can probably smell me since I'm human and all so that wouldn't exactly work...
As I walked down the hallway, I came across a room with a door that had scratches all on the outside of it. Curiousity got the better of me, I slowly opened the door with a soft click and walked inside only to find the room very bright and frilly looking, almost as if this belonged to a girl not too long ago. There was a huge pink bed lying in the center up against the far wall with one of those drapes put over the top of it that was a darker and more of a purple pink. To the right of that and closer to the door I just walked through was a desk with a white chair that the back of it was shaped like a heart. A medium sized layer of dust covered everything and anything it could stick to.
