After about an hour or two of the six brothers and I hanging out in the main living room and celebrating my birthday, everyone began saying their good nights to me and soon disappeared just as the sun was beginning to rise. By the end of this mini celebration, the only other person in the room with me was the second eldest son, Reiji.
"Will you be going to bed as well?" I asked the black haired vampire as I unconsciously brought my hand up to touch the tea cup necklace wrapped around my neck.
"I have yet to give you the best part of your gift ___." He answered as he glanced at me and then began walking down another hallway. But once he noticed how I'm not following him, he stopped dead in his tracks and continued staring straight ahead of him. "Stop standing there like a human who doesn't know how to use her feet and follow me peasant."
"Sorry sorry." I quickly mumbled as I hurried to catch up with him. "So what's this 'best part of my gift' going to be?"
"You'll find out in a few moments now be quiet."
I did as he said and remained silent as we continued to walk down countless more hallways. As we walked, I couldn't help but glance up to his face every so often. We haven't really spoken since he had forcefully kissed me back a few weeks ago after the fire that Yuma had started- not to say things are awkward... It's just, I don't know where we stand now.
Then again, I haven't spoken very many words to Shu either so there's no telling where I stand with either of them at this point...
It's not like I've been intentionally avoiding them, but it just seems that our paths don't cross as much as they used to since I was abducted. The only time I really see either of the eldest sons is when I go to their rooms to sleep since they have yet to give me my own room still.
Reiji's been busy with perfecting some sort of medicine/ poison/ potion thing that I don't even know what it'll be used for and then Shu's been either playing his violin or thinking a lot more than he usually ever did. Something has been keeping these two vampires up during the day and I have no idea what it could be other than the possible attack of the Mukami's and Tsukinami's. Normally I would consider this as a possibility, but honestly none of the brothers in this family seem too bothered by those two families so it wouldn't make sense for that to be the reason behind their sudden insomnia.
"Would you please refrain from staring at me so intently." Reiji suddenly said as we entered a new room.
"Huh, oh, sorry." I said, shaking my head a bit before looking around the large room. "A ballroom?" The words that I whispered under my breath seemed to reach the vampires ears for he simply gave me a somewhat awkward smile before taking one of my hands within his own.
"Yes, I thought it was about time I taught you how to properly dance." He answered as he pulled me to the center of the large room and then let my hand go so he could take a step back away from me.
"Firstly, the man would normally approach the woman and then bow to her with his hand up while she curtsies." He instructed as he bowed and then held his hand out for me to take.
"Like this?" I questioned as I did a little bit of an unstable curtsie and then gently placed my right hand on top of his ice cold left palm.
"That will have to do." Reiji whispered as he then proceeded to pull me towards his chest and raise our two hands to our sides and slightly in the air. "Now place this hand," he whispered again as he grabbed my free hand with his and placed it on the top of his chest and right under his shoulder blade, "here."
