Chapter 12 ~ A Glimpse Into the Past

Sorry for not updating soon, my computer decided to break and I'm no longer used to typing long chapters on my phone... Enough excuses, I'm finally off for summer vacation and so I should be finishing this story up pretty soon! I'll probably either write another UtaPri reader insert or for a different anime like Makai Ouji, BroCon, OHSHC, etc...

~Your P. O. V.~

Three whole months have passed since I was abducted and locked up in the Mukami's dungeon and the atmosphere around everything has only become more strained.

Reiji and Shu went from just sending death glares at one another from across the room to now verbally attacking each other to the point things are just seconds away from getting physical. But with these two always at each others throats, that also means that their whole demeanor towards myself has gotten a little more possessive as well.

The eldest son will literally take me away from his younger brother if he sees me and him together and vice versa. Reiji insists on teaching me more things relating to etiquette only to be interrupted when Shu will just appear where ever we are, grab my shoulder or physically pick me up, and then he teleports me to another part of the mansion where there is little to no one around so he can have me all for himself.

Now the second eldest isn't much better since he's developed a bad habit of pushing his older brother off of my lap and onto the floor when he uses me as a pillow and will then proceed to teleport me to his room so he won't have to worry about my attention being diverted to anything other than him.

These two will be the death of me...

But in the times they both leave me alone for a bit, it gives time for the triplets and Subaru to teach me on whatever it is they do to defend themselves. Laito's been showing me how to throw knives and Kanato has taught me how to start an even stronger fire plus how to use any type of silverware as an actual weapon.

Can't say I don't feel a little like Sebastian Michaelis and Claude Faustus right about now which is honestly pretty cool if I do say so myself.

These two skills come in handy since Ayato has been teaching me more techniques on how to use a sword and Subaru's taught me a few different ways to take down a vampire and avoid their attacks when at hand to hand close combat. Each of these four have actually giving me lessons on useful things while the eldest two sons stay locked up in their rooms or are too busy kidnapping me to try and help me survive.

And believe me when I say that this is not the time for them to be having some petty little argument over who owns the only human in the mansion considering the Mukami's have been going out of their way to make our lives more difficult than it already is.

The Sakamaki's have yet to go back to school since we know that there is going to be a large battle in the near future and it seems as though their four adopted brothers understand that as well. Now the Tsukinami's are a whole different story since I have yet to see even a slight glimpse of them since I our last encounter in the Mukami's dungeon.

The same can be said of Karlheinz. After he rescued me from the six opposing vampires, he hasn't shown up once. The most he's done since then is leave me a small letter giving me a bit of information over all ten of his sons as in what powers they have or don't, how they interact with their individual family, and also how all three families interact with each other. I already knew most of what he wrote, but some things did shock me a bit. Like how Kanato can literally manipulate fire and how Reiji has telekinesis.

The only one that was blatantly obvious was how Subaru has increased strength.

But even with the Mukami's antagonizing us, Reiji and Shu fighting each other, and the other four brothers teaching me multiple defense and offense techniques, there have also been some weird things going on. It's not like that Awakening stuff that Karl had briefly wrote about in his letter but more paranormal than anything else.
