"Belly, Belly? What happened?" I ask over the phone.
"I'll be home in a few, we can talk then." She says.

I hear the door open. Good, Belly's home. I swipe extra fast trying to find a good movie on the tv before she gets up here. The ice cream is on the bedside table, along with two spoons. I got the screaming pillow. And I stole two of Moms sheet face-masks. Girl night is ready for all the drama and anger.
I walk down the stairs, but I stop before anyone would've been able to see me.
"Stop being such a baby!" Conrad accuses.
"Oh, and you're such an adult?" Belly shoots back. "You spent your Saturday night crashing my first date for fun." There's a long pause, then Belly laughs sorely, "Fine. Forget it. Why don't you go smoke some more pot?" She ends.
"Why don't you go look at yourself in the mirror some more?" He adds, just needing to have the last word.
With that I'm officially pissed and pulling Belly out of the situation. I wasn't butting in because it isn't my business but now, I couldn't care less. I walk down the rest of the stairs and to Belly, softly pushing her back in front of me as a motion to go upstairs. She does.
I look back at Conrad and scoff, "Connie, what the fuck." I say quietly, just loud enough for him to hear. It was supposed to come off as an, 'I'm not angry, just disappointed.'
And with that, I followed Belly up.

"Okay, spill." I say handing her a spoon and opening up the tub of ice cream.
She scoops some up and puts it in her mouth. "I was just watching the movie with Cam right?" Her words come out funny since her mouth is full of ice cream, but I keep a serious face and nod.
"I think- I think he was gonna kiss me, Y/n." She admits, clearly upset. "But then the guys showed up and ruined it." Her eyes get teary and there's a new anger in her voice.
She takes another scoop of ice cream, "All I wanted was to have an amazing first date, one that I could look back on and smile at forever. A drive-in with a long-lost friend who grew up into a super hot guy that I re-met at a summer beach bonfire. It literally sounds like a dream." A tear falls, "And what do they do? Show up to laugh at me. To laugh!"
I pull her into a hug and she keeps going, "And just to end it all off, Conrad decides to be an asshole in the kitchen."
That's the last thing Belly says, she just cries into my shoulder now.
