I walk into Jeremiah's room, wrapped in the towel, but I'm still dripping water.

"Hey, hey, hey!" He motions at me dripping water everywhere.

"Can we do mini golf another day?" I whine.

"You were the one that told me to take you out!" He defends.

"That was before the surprise ice cream fling. Just cause we're doing this," I motion between us. "Doesn't mean we have to be together 24/7. I can't handle being around you that much."

"Not complaining." He shrugs and puts his headphones back on.

With that, I walk out of his room and go to mine for a shower before finishing the day.

"Hey, Bells, I went to a juice place and got you one. It's," I pause to read the label, "Fresh citrus, mint, and açaí."

"Sure!" She smiles and takes the bottle from me, "Mmm." She noises after the first sip.

"I'd hope so, it was eight bucks." I laugh.

She chokes on the drink for a second, "Eight dollars for a juice box?!"

I nod, "I was bored, it seemed fun. Plus, it's summer."

She sighs and keeps drinking it.

"So what are you doing tomorrow?" I ask.

"I'm going to a sea turtle protection tomorrow with Cam." She smiles.

"Sea turtle protection?"

"There's this really active spot for nesting and the eggs are all hatching, so a big group of us are going to make sure the turtles make it safely into the ocean." She smiles. "You should come!" She adds.

"I don't want to impose on date night." I shimmy my shoulders.

"Don't think about it like that! There's going to be so many people there, like a party in a way." She explains.

"When you put it like that it makes it hard to resist. I might come check it out, sounds really cute." I pout.

"I know!" She squeals. "You can invite Jeremiah too, if you want?" She says slowly, waiting for my answer.

"What?" I smile, "It's not like that Bells, we're just seeing if we could be friends." I say after evaluating her expression.

"Oh," He face relieves slightly. "Gotcha." She pauses, "He can still come though!"

I nod and walk into the living room, picking a book up from the shelf. I hide my phone in it for a second to text Jeremiah.

"Belly's officially interested in our dynamic ;)" I text.

"Score." He replies.
