HARRY'S POV
One word to describe how I was feeling was stressed. I was running late, and if there's one thing that I hate most in the world is being behind schedule. My manager had also informed me that there was a new person on the styling team, and since I was late I wasn't able to get there before them and give them the warm welcome that I liked to do when someone new was joining us. I felt absolutely terrible, but the video call interview from this morning had put me behind schedule, and I had stopped to pick up drinks from a local café along the way for each member of the team, which in turn put me behind schedule.
Rushing in the building, I quickly passed out drinks to the various team members that I passed by as I raced through the hallway to get to the makeup and hair room. Balancing an armful of drinks along with various other things such as my car keys and wallet, I carefully opened the door to the room.
"I am so sorry that I was late, the interview ran over time, and the café was busy, and I just.." I started to ramble, before getting abruptly cut off by my stylist, Vincent.
"It doesn't even matter, sweetcheeks! We put Sarah in the makeup and hair chair first, so you have a little extra downtime anyway. Also," Vincent reassured me, selecting his coffee from the drink carrier. "This is the new hairstylist, Aisley! She's my best friend in the whole wide world, and she's fantastic at hair. You're in great hands!"
My attention turned to the girl standing behind Sarah. A nervous smile was spread across her face, and the moment we locked eyes, it felt like time stood still. She was genuinely the prettiest girl that I think I have ever seen. Her positivity radiated off of her, and her eyes were warm and filled with love.
Sarah gently cleared her throat, breaking me out of my trance.
"Oh! hello! I'm Harry. Erm, welcome!" I stuttered, suddenly forgetting how to speak. "Uh, here's a strawberry banana smoothie! I wasn't sure what your order was, um so I hope this is ok!"
"Hi! I'm Aisley! It's very nice to meet you! That's actually my go-to order, so thank you very much!" She said with a small smile, her raspy and light voice filling my ears. Her voice had a light accent to it, but I wasn't able to quite put my finger on it.
I sat down on one of the couches in the room, and watched as the various people moved throughout the room. My eyes kept going back to Aisley though, watching her smile and chat with Sarah as she added final touches to Sarah's hair.
It warmed my heart to see her getting along nicely with someone in the band, wanting nothing more than to have her make friends on the team.
God, why was I acting like this? I hadn't even had a proper conversation with her and here I was acting like a pre-pubescent boy who had never seen a pretty girl before.
I only knew one thing for sure. This girl was gonna be trouble for me; whether she knew it or not.

Updates are gonna be sporadic but thank you to everyone who has read the book so far! Please feel free to leave constructive criticism or any edits along the way because this story is not edited at all and probably painfully cliche.
