(4 AM)

You had sketched upon the maps of the Bonten headquarters, while Naoto and Chifuyu worked on decoding the code for Ran's laptop.

"Map of Bonten," you slammed the sketchbook on Draken and Mitsuya's table, causing them to flinch,

'Y/N...let's talk about this, we can't keep ignoring the elephant in the room," Mitsuya sighed.

"There is nothing to talk about, we just have to catch Manjiro Sano and our work is done, figure out why he killed Shuji and change this timeline," you answered. Mitsuya pursed his lips in defeat.

"It's 4 in the morning Y/N, you need to sleep then only you can carry out the mission of stealing the files," Chifuyu sighed while handing you a cup of warm coffee.

"Naoto is working too, why shouldn't he sleep then?" you argued like a child, 'why are you guys not sleeping?"

"Because we want you to hurt less," Draken grimaced, "we want you to get back to Shuji as soon as possible and live a happy life, even if it hurts all of us."

Draken sighed and took your coffee mug and gave it to Chifuyu, before you could protest, you were lifted off the ground and two strong arms were engulfing you securely.

"Ry-Ryuguji Kun!" you muttered in embarrassment. Draken laughed and carried you up the stairs.

"Oi Draken! This is not fair!" Chifuyu shouted and hums of agreement from Mitsuya followed.

"Now it's Ryuguji huh? Earlier it was Draken?" he laughed and you felt the vibration s from his chest that made you shiver.

"Don't drop me, please," you muttered while leaning your head on his chest.

"Sweetheart these arms can lift up bikes easily, you are barely a feather, "he said in a tone that made your entire body feel warm with comfort yet chagrin.

Holding you with one hand he opened the door to your room, and that's when he saw two brown eyes staring into your souls.

"Dada...mama," she pointed and you could have sworn you saw the tip of Draken's ears turn red.

"Maki, why are you not asleep yet?" you questioned.

"Wait," she pointed, telling you that she had been waiting for you.

You realized the position you were in...Draken was still holding you and his grip on your body only felt tighter.

"Ryuguji Kun..." you breathed softly, "we can't...I mean...Maki is here."

"You'd rather do this alone, huh?" he said breathlessly, "now I am a bit curious as to what would have happened if Maki wasn't here."

Your body felt like it was overheating, "p-put me down."

"You are not in the position to make demands," he rasped, "but for now, for the sake of Maki, I am letting this slide."

You squeaked as he let you down.

"I'll be going now," he said standing on the doorframe.

Your lip wobbled as your mind told you that what you were doing was wrong...it was unfair to Shuji, yet at the same time it wasn't...

Draken seemed to have noticed your little dilemma. He leaned in and placed a quick kiss on your temple

"I understand that you are feeling this sort of internal crisis right now," he said and you looked at your feet.

"Look at me Y/N," he said softly and you slowly raised your gaze.

"There you are," he cooed, rubbing circles on the apple of your cheek, "healing takes time Y/N."
